Easy to use snd set up out of the box. Perfect entry level 4K player. it is not preloaded with many apps but you can choose from several popular apps. No Dolby Vision but easy controls to set HDR levels.

The product is excellent and solid, I didn't get a lot of time with it because of one thing. I have a Samsung 75in QLED TV and Samsung Soundbar, at the time I couldn't find fairly inexpensive Samsung 4k player so I bought this Panasonic in the hopes that I would like it. In my opinion, it didn't play well with my QLED TV (it didn't do what I wanted it to do, it wasn't a Samsung), so I continued to search for an affordable Samsung 4k player. I eventually found and purchased one and I returned this Panasonic after 3 weeks. By no means was there anything wrong with this Panasonic, I just prefer to have same manufacturer compatible products if at all possible.

My mom had a DVD player that died. I got this as a replacement and was easy to set up and is working great.

Its everything that was promised. Great pocture and sound and fairly quick loading time. The remote is probably overly complex but i really have no complaints.

Its a well built 4k unit that produces very bright colored picture. Its easy to set up and operate and it has a sturdy remote that is well laid out. Its a excellent 4k player for the money.

Works well, picture is awesome. On screen menu pointer is a bit jumpy and the voice it uses is sometimes hard to understand but it really doesn't affect the operation of the unit

Found this as an open-box item and boy was I happy!! Very easy to use. Set up and connection was very easy. Remote is also decent sized and easy to use. No complaints at all.

Panasonic makes great products! I have to say that I’ve never been disappointed with any Panasonic product I’ve ever bought. This is no exception... Easy to use, great quality, very fair price.

The device works as intended. The only flaw is the poorly designed remote control. Other than that the picture quality is great and so is the sound output.

My 18 year old Panasonic DVD player finally gave up the ghost after daily use for all that time playing mostly music CD's along with some movies, So I decided to get a player that can play my old DVD's, my extensive CD collection and maybe even a Bluray if I ever decide to buy one, I've been a cord cutter for ever 3 years so all my recent movies are in the cloud. This player works great, was super easy to set up and i really like the looks. Nothing on the front, just a small light when it's on. The front panel flips open when you insert a disc then closes again. I don't need a display on the unit to distract. Hoping this one lasts just as long as my previous Panasonic.

Supports blue-rays as well as Netflix. I use it to watch my older VCD as well as DVD I borrow from the library.

Easy to set up. Picture and sound are excellent. Hope it last longer than my Samsung. It was considerably more than I wanted to spend but I can deal with that if it lasts a while.

This is one of the best 4k players around. The only drawback is that the 4k player does not have Dolby Vision. If this is a deal breaker, I would look for another 4k player.

I read tons of reviews before deciding to get this one. No need to be long, I know you also have read tons of reviews. Simply said, grab this one and save your dolllars. No Dolby Vison, but I had to return a brand that had Dolby vision, (that was rated #2 for blue rays under $400), this one beats it. I even decided not to get the UB820 because I'm so happy with this one.

I got this primarily to play 3D movies. The player was relatively simple to connect to my current TV and stereo system. I have not tried all the functions of the player yet but what I have used works correctly. The user manual does need to be downloaded. The instructions were not the most user friendly, but I was able to find what I needed to make the 3D movies work.
