Awesome player, huge upgrade from my xbox one x. Now all my physical media plays and with the hdr optimizer, all my movies look amazingly better. Must have for every home theater

Does a great job on 4k video and upscaling DVD and blu-ray. The interface is dated and slow and often freezes. Has a Netflix and Amazon Prime app but no Disney+. I watch Netflix and Amazon through this because of the upscaling, but can't watch Disney because no app so have to stream that through another device. Also, the remote SUCKS.

I got this primarily to play 3D movies. The player was relatively simple to connect to my current TV and stereo system. I have not tried all the functions of the player yet but what I have used works correctly. The user manual does need to be downloaded. The instructions were not the most user friendly, but I was able to find what I needed to make the 3D movies work.

This player was easy enough to setup. It produces Very clean detailed video & audio even if Not hooked up to & set up for a 4K tv ! Plays UHD BlueRay of Fate & The Furious Great & makes my cd’s sound Great, Esp thru nice Sony ES/ Infinity audio system PS4 won’t play it or even play some cd’s Panasonic Works well with Netflix & YouTube. Only 4 stars: Doesn’t support Hulu & I can’t even find it in the online store to download it.. what’s up with that?!! PS4 streams Hulu & it’s Stars & HBO Hubs that I pay Xtra for...was really hoping for Panasonic player to at Least be a good back up, otherwise a great player.

The blue ray 4K dvd player weekend great and is easy to use

I snagged a like new open box and its perfect. Easy update to the latest firmware, fast to load 4k discs, no stutters while playing. HDR10+ looks incredible on my QD-OLED! Also works flawlessly with eArc and being controlled by the Samsung TV remote I have is nice. It is a bit narrower than typical 17" equipment.

So far it has performed great. I have not had any problem with any disc that I have played so far. Good machine.

Its easy to use, and connects easily with my TV. I like that you can change the voice and screen formats. There's a slight learning curve with all the adjustments but its easily learnable. Only downside is that I get an electric shock every time I touch the box when I take out a bluray disc. Make sure to just touch the bluray itself.

This Panasonic Ultra HD Hi Res player has met all of our expectations. New 4 K discs are fabulous and older, blu rays are clear as a bell. No disappointments in our purchase at all.

This new player has a wonderful picture, and is easy to use. The UHD feature makes older video look better. I use this now more than my cable service.

After upgrading to a new Sony 85 inch 4K tv figured it was the time to get a 4K Ultra HD BR player. Read a lot of reviews and narrowed it down to the Panasonic line as it has HDR/HDR+10 ability plus the HCX processor where you can fine tune the HDR picture which really adds some punch. It doesn't support Dolby Vision but for the price at BF this seems to fit the bill for me, may upgrade to the 820 model next year which does support DV, all in all very happy, 4K flicks look gorgeous! I will add I do not use it for streaming services so no comment there.

This player replaced an Oppo. It's 4K image is gorgeous on my Epson projector. There's a setting that optimizes it for projector use. It doesn't have the built-like-a-tank chassis that higher priced players have but it's video output is in the top tier. When compared to my Panasonic DP-UB820 player, it's more expensive cousin, all it lacks are a few features that have no impact on it's high-end image.

Work well. Can watch all of our dvd’s blue ray and 4k’s.

This player was purchased after our older DVD player was found to be incompatible with our new TV. It was easy to set up and has great picture quality.

This BluRay player delivers high quality performance as expected from a respected company.

Works well, picture is awesome. On screen menu pointer is a bit jumpy and the voice it uses is sometimes hard to understand but it really doesn't affect the operation of the unit

I’ve purchased Panasonic brands in the past and this, just keeps improving, very happy with it. Not only does it play 4k with high quality playback it also improves playback from blu-ray and regular dvds. Does have built in apps, use for either WiFi or Ethernet for the best connection.

I own the big brother to this unit, the DP-UB820 in my theater room and I love it. When my old Sony 4k player took a dump I replaced it with this on in my family room and I couldn't be happier. This looks better, and works better than the Sony ever did. If you still love spinning discs this is a great option. The picture and sound is always better in 4k on a 4k Blu-ray compared to streaming options.
