Works great, perfect 4K for the money. Can’t go wrong with this player in my opinion

Great 4K Blu-Ray player, and that's all it needs to be

Panasonic - DP-UB420 - Streaming 4K Ultra HD Hi-Res Audio was easy to setup. Thankfully I had a spare high speed hdmi. At the time this player was cheaper than the other hi-res audio players. The biggest problem is ... the remote. The remote has a poor layout of buttons. The buttons navigation are situated too close to Netflix button and menus. Easy to misclick. There are some of the standard streaming apps. Doesn’t support Disney plus. I would recommend a separate streaming device. 4K blu-ray visually looks great. Quick loading too. The hi-res audio sounds fantastic when watching blu-ray and other media types.

Very pleased with playback video and sound quality. It was getting very hot even when it was not on. However, Drake at Best Buy in Louisville helped me and suggested that I turn off the quick start feature to fix the issue. Now it is cool to the touch when off. Great product and customer service from Drake the salesperson!

Panasonic makes the best Blu-ray players on the market today, period. This one is an incredible value. The only thing it's missing from its more expensive siblings is Dolby Vision, front display, and a sturdier/heavier build. None of that mattered to me, so this was perfect for the price. The improvement from my Xbox One X is very noticeable. The HDR performance is superb on my JVC projector. Don't hesitate! Amazing picture.

Compact unit. Easy to set up. Great picture. Just what I wanted!

A 3rd 4k UHD for our home. We love physical media and needed another unit. 4K Blu-Ray provide the best experiences. This one does all of the Dolby products, Atmos and Vision as well as HDR10. It makes older Blu-Rays look fantastic as well. A very excellent player. It has APS for streaming as well including all of the major ones, Apple+, Netflix, Disney, Prime etc

one of the best 4k players out there. Image quality at the top with the best players. I also have the big brother 820. which I think is the best player around for the price. but this player and the sony x-700 are the best budget players you can buy. the 420 does not support dolby vision and the sony does. you will love this player.

I purchased this Blu-Ray from Best Buy before, and it works well with my Home Theather System. This is one of the reasons I purchased another one as a backup as Blu-Ray players will eventually go away "not" right away and it will not be available for repair/replacement. Compared to other Blu-Ray players in the market this is most economical in price and eventually will "no" longer be available. This Blu-Ray performs well in Home Theather System and I recommend it to anybody who is looking for a less expensive player.

Reliable stand alone 4k Blu Ray player. Plays much better than my Xbox did. No Dolby Vision but shouldn't be a problem if your TV doesn't support it. What's the nice surprise??? Was open box model and it came with a free copy of Gran Turismo haha.

Excellent 4K player at an unbelievable price point. This player may not have Dolby but don't let that cause you to not drop a couple Franklins on this player. It comes close to matching the capabilities of it's high priced cousin at a fraction of the cost. The remote is somewhat cumbersome but the picture quality more than makes up for that shortcoming. The picture reproduction on a 77" S90D are amazing accurate with vivid detail, no lag noticed and no perceptible noise. As one of the few manufacturers still producing players, Panasonic has made a budget friendly, top tier player that checks almost every box.

If you're looking for a solid 4K player that does it all, this is the one to buy. It produces razor-sharp images and plays Blu-ray and DVD discs as well. It even up-converts DVDs to Blu-ray quality. It will even play 3D discs. This is a true wireless streaming player. Just find your network and add your password and you can stream many apps. My only complaint is that at this price point it should have had a time display on the front of the unit. Higher-priced Panasonic 4K players have this function. The Panasonic DP-UB420 is great way to view not only your 4K discs, but other formats as well.

This is an easy user friendly equipment. Plug & Play! The 4K is making my TV set (also Panasonic) using high res-Audio DVD/CD/3D Blu-Ray player a blast! Super sharp and clear! Very vivid! And you can stream your shows with Rj-45 or wireless input, or surf the net, very cool indeed. We needed an upgrade and this is an impressive machine.

Plays every 4k UHD video I can throw at it. This was one of the cheaper players and it works flawlessly.

I have several ones that I was able to get on sale. I have one connected to each of my 4K tv sets. They are easy to set up and use. Picture quality is excellent.
