Very nice player but horrible remote layout

The reason why this review is not 5 stars is the subtitle activation. To get subtitle, you need to go through a maze of menu. Also the remote button setting is terrible. Constantly hitting the wrong button and getting Netflix in the middle of a disc movie. Why can't everyone use the same layout!

Amazing 4k Player

I originally purchased this since my TV is 8 years old and I plan to replace it soon. This 4k player took my movies to another level. Watched Back to the Future and Jurassic Park and I saw things I never seen. If you need a 4k player get this one. It is even better than my Xbox One S which is 4k converted. I saw other comments saying it was slow to load and that it makes noise. I did not have that issue so far.

I'm hoping it will last longer than my last bluray player.

Blue Ray Player

I know it was an Open Box special and was supposed to be complete and inspected, however it was missing the HDMI Cable. That was a minor inconvenience because I was unable to use it as soon as it arrived. I had to borrow a cable from a neighbor until I was able to order an HDMI Cable from Amazon.

This is the best 4k Blu-ray on the market

It’s the best 4kbluray player with dv, hdr10+ and upscaling capabilities with standard Blu-ray and dvd to 4k is amazing. Though it is a little pricey it’s been out for almost a decade and is still the pinnacle of 4kbluray watching

Panasonic 420 = good choice

I have a panasonic player now which is working fine, but this unit is of higher quality. So far picture is great and the fact this player handles many formats made this choice easy. I believe I've made the choice.

Works perfectly

Panasonic to the rescue

I needed to replace my 3D Blu-ray player that got fried from a power surge. Fortunately, this Panasonic Blu-ray player plays my 3D discs perfectly. Since 3D TVs are no longer made, 3D Blu-ray players are scarce. But, after all, 3D Blu-ray discs are still being produced, so thank you Panasonic for considering this.

It was a replacement for an old unit. Installation wasn't too difficult, even for a non-techie type of person like me. It has been functioning as it should I am told. Some of the features haven't been used yet (streaming for example). Otherwise it seems to be performing as it should and seems to be a Best Buy.
