Fair price and works great. I have been using it for about two months now and no problems whatsoever. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a DVD player.

I am not using it for apps or streaming, only as a BluRay and DVD player. For those functions, it works great.

This is my first 4K player and I am satisfied with it so far. After waiting years to purchase one I finally landed on this model. Mostly because of the reviews but also due to brand recognition and reliability. My Panasonic Blu-ray player which I bought over 10 years ago is still up and running. I’m not super technical so I can’t provide specs to make comparisons to other brands or models but Panasonic definitely makes a good product. I have had no freezing issues and the player runs quietly. One thing I did note in some of the negative reviews were freezing issues but when I looked around I found some suggestions. A decent hdmi cable & updating the firmware. Even though I had no issues I did both of those things right out of the box. This machine rests comfortably in between the more top of the line 4K players and the cheap off brand models. I really like how some of my Blu-ray Discs look on this player too. I do not use it for streaming. If you’re looking for the newest most advanced machine look elsewhere. If your like me who appreciates the reliability of older tech then this might be for you.

4k DVD is so much better than streaming. I have 0 issues with this player, besides maybe the unnecessary inclusion of optional streaming apps and wifi connection. I watched arcane and Dune and it was mind blowing how good it looked. 0 artifacting, great color, great sound.

Small unit, easy to use. I needed to replace my 3D Blu-ray player that got fried from a power surge. Fortunately, this Panasonic Blu-ray player plays my 3D discs perfectly. Since 3D TVs are no longer made, 3D Blu-ray players are scarce. But, after all, 3D Blu-ray discs are still being produced, so thank you Panasonic for considering this.

Easy to use with my LG 4K Smart TV. Image quality is excellent. Functions operate with no issues, though I would like better top menu displays. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Absolutely fantastic. No problems with it so far at all. This is a solid player. The only thing i'm not too crazy about is the front face flip down. It just feels like a lot could go wrong with that. A simple tray would have worked just fine.

Easy set up, good picture. Remote control is better than Sony's, but you can stretch to full screen old letterbox DVDs on Sony DVD players. Time will tell if it outlasts Sony players

We bought this to replace an older player and because we had bought a new TV that wasn't compatible with the older machine. The picture and options are clear. It was very easy to set up and the remote from our Samsung TV operates the machine without having to use more than one. Nice and inexpensive machine.

Sometimes, it can be overly complicated and feels chaeply made. Have an older LG 4K player and performs the same and It feels much more sturdy. it never runs hot. Seems like for the money, a nice component should be made of a sturdy material and easier interface.

I'm very happy with this player's performance and picture quality as well as the price. I only use it for watching movies so any shortcomings concerning music playback are of no concern to me. I also own two OPPO players and as far as I'm concerned the picture quality is equal and even better in some instances. It's a great value even at full price.

Super 4K Blu-Ray DVD player, excellent picture quality, sound, easy set up, would definitely recommend.

I've really enjoyed this 4K blu-ray player so far. We've had it about 5 weeks and have watched about ten movies so far. 4K native movies look amazing and this player will allow you to max out the picture quality on many TVs (up to 60Hz refresh rate). Up-converted full HD blu-ray movies look excellent too. I've been using and enjoying the features on this player more than I thought I would. Confirmed that full HD and 4K discs are playing at higher bit rates than what we were able to stream them at due to bad compression and throttled/limited streaming bit rates from Netflix and Prime. This leads to a MUCH better quality viewing with higher detail level that was immediately noticable! I also appreciate the separate audio/video output option so that you can directly connect Dolby Atmos-level sound quality straight to a sound system.

I love this 4k player it really elevates the movie and makes it feel more intense. I got it for my living room but I just might have to purchase another for my bedroom! It is amazing!

This player works great- picture is sharp with great color, lots of detail in dark areas with HDR. Some take issue with the lack of Dolby Vision in this player, but I haven't missed it, mainly due to the presence of a feature called HDR Optimizer. You can select the type of TV you have (by luminance) and this player handles the tone mapping, tailoring it to that type of TV. So no matter how expensive or cheap your TV is, you can get an excellent picture from this player.

Bought based on several review sites recommendations. My first Blu-ray player but we use DVDs frequently. Great image quality, audio decoding, HDR color rendition, 4K upscaling and at a decent price.

Worth the cost, great in built apps. 2nd hdmi for hi-res audio.

Excellent accessory for my LG OLED 65" TV. Produces a sharp and highly detailed picture.
