Considered the lower model that was on sale for less than half the price, but SO happy I went for the top of the line, worth every cent. A player built to last with exceptional image quality.

Produces Outstanding Sound and Video

I have played standard Blu-ray movies in an upper end Sony 3-D player and the difference in the brightness of the picture on an LG65CX is very noticeable. When playing a 4K disc the picture is simply the best I have ever seen! The set up is a bit of a challenge for someone like me as I am not that into working with high-tech audio and video setups. The settings are complex on the Panasonic yet logical but the unit will not play on an LG OLED without some settings changes on the LG. Finally figured it out and "WOA" a great picture and sound.

When OPPO stopped making their Blu-ray players I was worried that nothing would replace their quality. Well this not only does that but it is even better than any OPPO player!

Great quality

I have an LG OLED and it didn’t make sense to me to go cheap on the player which is the only media that can actually push my display.

The 4k is stunning and makes regular Blu Rays look incredible. I had the 900, which was also a good player but this is definitely an upgrade. Sold my 900 on ebay to absorb about 40% of the cost and also had certificates so it did not hit me too hard. Buy it. you will not regret it.

Build quality is 1st class, you'll realize this the moment you touch it and notice the Weight. Picture is out of this world and sound is as impressive given you have a high end A/V receiver and Speakers like mine. My system is 7.1.4 and it's wonderful experience. Excellent Seller, 100% positive ratings and I wouldn't want to change this. However the shipping took longer than expected "almost 10 days" I highly recommend this Blu ray if you can afford it.
