The remote doesn't work at all, but oddly enough, my sony tv remote works on it. Seriously, a $1000 dvd player and the remote isn't set correctly coming out if the box. According to the website, it might be a setting, but I shouldn't have to reset it out of the box. This is now the only high end player left, and I had my reservations before I purchased it, but there wasn't much choice.

Stunning Picture Quality & Sound

If paired with a THX Receiver must use THX HDMI cables for enhanced audio/video. Build quality is great. The only drawback for this unit at this price point is the fact that it is made in China and should come with full operational book just like the one on line.

Manufactured in March 24 per back of unit. That’s why 3 stars. Put yes for recommend since there isn’t a maybe, give it benefit of doubt.

Great top of the line player

The picture and sound quality are amazing. I probably wouldn't have paid full price but got a great deal on an open box product. Highly recommended.

As soon as you take it out of the box you notice the craftsmanship and effort put into the overall build. No cheap plastics, super quiet, great resolution. For reference I use it with my LG C8 OLED

One Great 4K Blue Ray Player

If you have a 4k projector or OLED tv this will give you the best picture quality period
