The only problem with the blue-ray player is the remote, the Netflix button (not a necessity) and the software used for the apps are few things that needs to be changed.

Great smart BR unit at a super price

The "Miracast" is very nice and set up was easy but it did require 2 firmware upgrades in order to be up to date. I love this unit and hope it will last. The lines on Black Friday were quite long so after seeing the unit in an actual store, I ordered it online & took advantage of the free shipping. I received the player in plenty of time for the holiday.

Still committed to blu rays

So far, so good. I am committed to blu rays. While I do a lot of streaming there are many films I own that I am quite sure will disappear from streaming sites. The Panasonic player has a great reputation.

I had a problem with the original unit I purchased but exchanged it and the replacement has worked fine. My only complaint is that it connects to Netflix but not the internet in general so no HBOGo access.
