I bought this to go with a TV for our camper (it always rains). This unit has awesome features and an excellent picture quality. It upscale a DVDs to give you the best picture possible. Be sure to update the unit when you get it!

Plays DVDs and Blu Rays with no issues! The software seems a little outdated but it was priced great and works well.

The remote doesn't function that well. Lag time from button push to command.

Really like this blueray. Same internet connectivity and Netflix/Amazon links and style as the rest of the modern Panasonic smart TVs and bluerays. Small size, not much bigger than the blueray discs themselves. Good deal.

Bought this player for my children's living room. We previously had a Sony Blu-ray player that had very poor Wi-Fi connection. This player is great and connects to the Wi-Fi perfectly. Plays Blu-rays and DVDs perfectly.

I have an earlier version with the same 5900 model number. The letters are different. Although it is larger, I like the earlier model better because it has a status indicator on the front so I know when the player is on and what it is doing at any moment in time. The new model has no status indicator so it is not easy to know if the player is on (or off) without turning on the television. For lack of the indicator screen I mark the player down by one star.

It is a good price for what it will be used for a Christmas gift to go with the new TVs for my granddaughters

I decided to just buy a blu ray player as I was buying a lot of movies lately. Works great for the low price.

Picked this up on a warranty exchange from a previous model. A lot of extra features. This was a much better unit than the one it replaced. It's got far more far more apps and streaming services.

Love this blu-ray works great the only issue is when you pause it doesn’t show how much longer is left for the movie

I purchased this to use with one of my televisions that isn't a smart television so I could stream Netflix, etc. It play DVDs fine and works well.

My mother was thinking about buying a Smart TV, and I told her it is far cheaper to buy a Smart Blu-ray instead. This was only $40 on Black Friday. It is small and doesn't take up much space and has built-in Wi-Fi.
