    This Blu-ray player does an excellent job with disk playback. The player tends to have software issues when utilizing the web-based video apps. It will freeze requiring you to unplug the unit for 10-30 seconds. Sometimes you have to do this more than once in one sitting. I had an older model Panasonic streaming Blu-ray player that did the exact same thing. But overall its not a game changer, it's a serviceable little player that gets the job done. No more, no less.

    I bought this to replace a $200 Panasonic blu Ray player I had that continues to play dvd's but not Blu Rays. It's not full of features but so far it does what it's supposed to do, play blu Ray movies

    When trying to access YouTube the device would freeze up. Tried it on 2 TV's with the same result. Was not consistance with playing USB files. Sometimes it would play a file and then the next time it was unable to play same file. Worked well for playing DVD's

If you are experiencing issues with playing specific files and the unit is freezing please reset the settings to the factory defaults. Turn on the unit and press and hold the OK, Y and B buttons on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds. “00 RET” is displayed on the unit’s display. Then press the arrow right button repeatedly on the remote control until “08 FIN” is displayed on the unit’s display. Following that press and hold the OK button on the remote control for more than 5 seconds. Please also make sure that the player is using the latest firmware update that is available for this model.
