It said the door was open, was not. Turned off and on several times, even unplugged it. Still froze. Returned to Best Buy, no hassle.

Tried the update and it took about a half hour to get to 40% on a high speed internet connection, then said failed and went to home screen. Tried it 3 more times and it wouldn't even reach the 40% again before failing. Went back to best buy and bought a Samsung within the same hour. Hooked up the Samsung and was watching Netflix within 5 minutes. Samsung needed a firmware update also but I was able to use the internet functions before updating, Updated the Samsung within minutes.

Quiet operation, clean image,easy wifi connection

Great BLU-ray at awesome price

I figured the price was good enough to give them a shot. They were easy to program and update. Both players play well and have not given me any issues. I am happy with these and would buy them again if I had to do it over. Happy consumer!

Tried it on 2 TV's with the same result. Was not consistance with playing USB files. Sometimes it would play a file and then the next time it was unable to play same file. Worked well for playing DVD's

If you are experiencing issues with playing specific files and the unit is freezing please reset the settings to the factory defaults. Turn on the unit and press and hold the OK, Y and B buttons on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds. “00 RET” is displayed on the unit’s display. Then press the arrow right button repeatedly on the remote control until “08 FIN” is displayed on the unit’s display. Following that press and hold the OK button on the remote control for more than 5 seconds. Please also make sure that the player is using the latest firmware update that is available for this model. Hope this helps! - S

Good blu-ray player
