    We purchased this Blu-Ray for Christmas. We had issues from the first time we used it. This was the first Blu-Ray player we purchased, so we chalked up the issues to our learning curve. When you push the button to select what you want to do, it skips to the next one. It takes forever to read a movie is in it, then quit working altogether. We were only able to use it for less than a year (maybe 1-2 times a month). Poor quality machine!

    This has to be the worst player I've ever had. I got a replacement for the first one in 2 weeks, as it would shut off, stop playing and said an error about the sound not working, and not stay connected to my Wi-Fi when everything else would and the player showed it was connected. The replacement did the same thing shortly after my 30 days were up and I could exchange it so it has been a paperweight. Do not waste your money on this product

    I have had numerous issues with this item staying connected to the network. I had to return the first one I purchased because it kept locking up.

    Bought immediately based on price at the time. However, upon reading reviews afterwards about no power indicating light, returned product and waited for another sale on a different model.

    Got this BluRay after reading several reviews. First off...it does not come with an HDMI cable. I set it up. It will frequently lock up and not turn off. I have to unplug it to turn it off. It then won't turn back on. If I watch Netflix for to long it locks up. You also can not download any more apps. You only get what comes on the BluRay. Plan on returning it.

      Thank you for providing feedback on the player. It sounds like your Network Settings could use modifying. Check the player's Network Settings menu and ensure your ISP recommended DNS servers are being used. -AM Panasonic

    Player is not the simplest to use with the menu interface and home menu is not customizable. You get what they advertise like NetFlix and Pandora but no option to get Hulu on there.

    This Smart BD player has limited connectivity to WIFI, in fact could not get it to connect from bedroom about 60 feet from router. It also has limited programs. I returned it.

    As a blueray it is fine. However the main reason I purchased this is for the wifi connection. It rarely maintains a connection even though it is only feet from my router.

      Thank you for taking the time to provide your experience. It sounds like you could be in the router's wireless halo field. Try moving the router or Blu-ray player two additional feet away to help remove yourself from the field where wireless signals are weak. -AM Panasonic

    I tried to set this up on my cable, Comcast, modem. I could not get it to work,'it kept getting hung up on the last step and customer service couldn't help. Returned it.

    VERY LIMITED. Make sure you read all the streaming capabilities before you purchase a DVD player. This one only stream to approx 4 different products. It is terrible!

    We bought this player and a brand new disk skipped. The biggest reason we bought this model specifically because it was a "smart" player and would allow us to watch internet based tv. The box did not say weather it had a place where you could download additional apps nor did it say that the apps on it were all you could use. When we bought it home we found that we could not download additional apps, the 4 already installed were all that could be used. So we opted for a Google Chrome Cast.

    Worst blu ray purchase yet. Got as black friday deal for my kids for christmas, i should have known it was too good to be true. All of my blu rays colors are literally blue!!! I couldnt get help from tech support at panasonic and when i tried to return it to best buy i got the run around. Now i am stuck with a blu ray that shows blue movies. Just pay the extra few bucks for a nicer model

      It sounds like you may have chosen a Picture mode that makes the picture have a Blue tint. While playing a movie, press the [Option] button then choose the correct "Picture Mode" in the "Video Settings" option. - AM Panasonic

    I bought this player a little over a year ago. I never use the wifi on it and we very seldom get to watch movies. We were trying to watch a movie the other night and we can't get the door to open to even put a movie in. We done all the troubleshooting and still no luck. I would say we only used this about 5 or 6 times no more then that.

    Lost Faith In Panasonic

    For the amount of money paid for this item, I was extremely disappointed in the number of available streaming services. I returned this item and replaced it with a Sony WiFi enabled blu-ray player and am much happier. Panasonic has a long way to go to match their competitors in this area.

    The inter network sucks slow locks up. Does not have automatic sync for older TV's have to hook up to newer tv to change
