Pros: -Seems decent enough for blu-ray and DVD -Playing digital movies from a USB flash drive is simple and works great -Menu is simple with easy-to-access features and sections for different types of media -Controller is pretty decent with a dedicated Netflix button Cons: -Wi-fi is horrible. While updating the firmware went smoothly, Netflix proved to be barely usable. The Netflix app consistently took forever to load, had frequent connection errors, and struggled to maintain even a 480p feed, often noticeably dipping below SD. I'd blame it on the wi-fi signal, but the smart TV the player is hooked up to loads Netflix instantly and streams in full HD with hardly any load times. Other devices in the same room also have had no trouble streaming Netflix. I'm not sure if it's the unit's memory specs, a poor wi-fi receiver, or a combination of the two, but it's definitely disappointing as a wi-fi streaming device.

Does everything expectednothing special good value

Good, basic smart blu-ray player. It only has Wi-Fi, but no Ethernet LAN connection. I bought this on sale which made it a bargain.

I needed a blu ray player, this one was a good price, very easy to hook up and works very well.

I purchased this on Black Friday. Was pleased with the quick delivery time. I couldn't believe how tiny it was! My how things have changed, since I purchased my first DVD player, so many years ago.

It has it, which makes me very happy! I might not ever update the firmware though, just in case they decide to take it away. Most other players I have tried do not allow this functionality on Blu-Rays.

Not a bad unit at all. I like that it plays movies from an external hard drive. It has Netflix but not Hulu so I do wish it had both.

This blu ray player is working great just like i expected i would by it again if i had to which i did, i bought a second one!

My fiancé and I purchased this for our bedroom and it's perfect, plays movies and streams Netflix! It's small so it doesn't take up a lot of space or look bulky next to the tv! Would definitely recommend it! :)

Bought this so I could have wireless capabilities to Netflix and Prime. So easy to hook up, thought I might be missing some steps. Easy interface and easy to get where you need to go.

I was looking for an inexpensive player and chose this one. It's got quite a small footprint, set up quickly & easily, and displays a beautiful picture on my 50" LCD.

Brought as a replacement it works well and was easy to set up

My husband and I bought 3 of these and 3 little 24" tv's for our daughters for christmas. 2 of the players set up perfectly. The 3rd player shows that it is connected to the internet but refuses to update the firmware. I had no problem doing the other 2. I tried it in a different room, no dice. Okay lets skip the firmware and let her watch tv....nope. No apps show in the internet section and when I hit the netflix button on the remote, it shows an error. This player is basically unusable for streaming.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. Easy setup. Fast response. WiFi connects fast to my hotspot. Sale price on flash sale is the best part.

I love this DVD player. It is small and fits right on the cable box. Having it WiFi streaming allows me to eliminate an additional electronic box
