Almost Famous is the best behind the scenes movie about the real rock n roll life style of the bands of the seventies!

The new packaging is great. And I love having a digital copy. But I wish there was a blu-ray disc and some new 20th anniversary features. Nothing has changed with the home video releases since the Bootleg Cut was released on DVD.

A good movie by Cameron Crowe. Somewhat based on his youth as a writer for Rolling Stone Magazine. If you like classic rock and the whole rock band scene you will enjoy this movie. Only thing that kept me from rating 5 stars is the special features. At the end some of the chapters it would just lock up in my player, movie played fine.

Classic film that greatly portrays the life on the road for a struggling band. Direction is on point and the acting is awesome.

This affectionate look at the rock & roll lifestyle is a little glossy for its own good, but strong performances and a killer soundtrack make it all go down smoothly. The hi-def bump doesn't work miracles, but enhanced sound and tons of bonus features make it a keeper for your movie library.

"Almost Famous" has held up nicely over the years, and the Blu-ray version presents the film in good audio-visual style. All the extras from the deluxe DVD set are on board, though not in hi-def. Still, there's a lot here to occupy an avid fan. A little sappy, but very entertaining.
