The camera very good image quality, but the drone is not very responsive to commands from the app.

I was very excited to fly this thing. I get home download the app and start flYing within an hour. First flight did not go bad. The next day after downloading and installing the latest software ( update) I went to go fly it and it just went berserk. The drone would fly in it's own direction smash into walls and drop likeep a fly. My personal opinion I think it was defective from the factory. 1

For the price I would expect much better. Yes it is built well enough that it survives crashes, and yes the camera is as good as any GoPro3+, but it is generally not fit for any flight above 20 feet. I'd consider myself a veteran flyer of the DJI Phantom line which is far superior and far easier to learn / use (partly because the complementing mobile app for this is absolute trash and a convoluted way to control something at high altitudes). Do yourself a favor and buy the first generation DJI Phantom for a SIGNIFICANTLY better (and sometimes lower cost) experience. Or spring for the Phantom 2+ for a couple hundred dollars more for a whole new class of drone. The only reason you should buy this is if you absolutely need high quality indoor video (and even then wait 6 months for the phone app to at least not crash 5 times midflight).

Unfortunately I aso have to say this drone needs some work. Was really excited about this drone and it seems to have great potential. Despite calibration, firmware update, outdoor setting mode, max altitude setting, watching all videos and reading startup manuals/forums, I had the flyaway issue on 1st flight where I could not call this thing back to earth. Had to hit emergency button which meant a 50' fall back to driveway. Amazingly nothing major broke but I decided I couldn't afford to have it break on the next flight. Back to Bestbuy. May try again next year. Recommend to not buy at this time

no problems-- great for a first drone--easy to operate

the app take care of the drone for you no need to charge a control no need to wait for satellites just connect via bluetooth wi-fi is it losses reception it automatically comes back

Instructions were non existent. The toy came with a foot broken. We decided to try it anyhow and instead of leveling off at 3 foot as designed it shot up into the air about 20 feet. Going back in the morning.
