Have a Sony 46" LCD with 3-D. Have had it for seven years without one problem. So, when it came time to upgrade to 4K... Sony was my first choice. I've only had this a week, but with Sony's reputation and quality, I'm certain it will provide great viewing for the years ahead. This 50" was easy to set up and get online... Another plus. ( I'll be keeping the 46" for 3-D movies and games in another room. )

Despite all the negativity that surrounds this movie, I found it to be absolutely fantastic. The acting was on point, the script was clever, and the cinematography was phenomenal. This movie was shot using a 4k camera so the 4k blu-ray is beautiful on my tv. It's a cross between a love story, sci-fi, and a thriller. I saw it in theaters, bought the 4k disk and saw it again at home. It is the ultimate 4k movie for a collection.

I first rented this movie as I am a fan not only of Chris Pratt, but also science fiction movies. I'm not really a reviewer and tend to have eclectic taste in movies, so my movie review will be brief. The movie itself is good, though a little formulaic. It was enjoyable, but I probably wouldn't have paid full price for the DVD. However, because of a sale and Rewards certificates I had, I couldn't pass up the price.

I never buy or go to movies based on reviews and all the hype tv commercials make because I usually end up unsatisfied. This movie is one of those movies. It's good, just not great. Good story, good actors, decent script, but lacking overall, especially the ending. It was just over-hyped. The 3D effects were pretty good and I am sure you will enjoy it, just don't go into it expecting to be blown away.

A good albeit forgettable science fiction film. Nice visuals and Pratt and Lawrence have great chemistry.

When it comes to examining human relationships, having only three (really two) subjects certainly makes it more intimate. PASSENGERS examines the dynamics of loneliness, discovery, realization and, finally, resolution. The film also examines an unspoken truth about our plans to travel to distant planets. What could possibly go wrong? Ask, possibly, the most charming cyborg in the universe and get with the program.

I purchased this set as I really wanted the 3D version but this was on sale and for 15 bucks I received all 4 variants including the 4K version. I do not have a 4K player yet as they are way too expensive so it will have to wait until I buy one to watch it in 4K but I love 3D so I am more than happy. The movie is really good and the 3D is extremely pleasing.4 versions 15 bucks. Another Best Buy killer sale.

The audio is outstanding especially with a solid sub woofer. The video is tack sharp and well done. Believe it was recorded in digital or a combination of digital and 35mm film. Acting and plot and directing are really good. A little slow at the start but you got to build the foundation before moving forward. The CG are unbelievable. Love the bar tender. Highly recommended.

When this flick came out on dvd, I was excited to see it, since I really enjoy sci-fi movies. The core concept of the movie is innovative, and the special effects were impressive. While I enjoyed the movie overall, there were some slow times with little action in it that I could have done without. However, I will watch it many more times with a big bag of popcorn and a soda of choice at my side.

I watched this movie at the theater and felt luke warm about the movie. After watching this movie at home in 3D, I wanted it! Picture is great and the sound is great. And this came with the 4K disc also! And the price was great! I know that the sound quality on 4K movies, recently made, is just amazing and everyone should listen to and watch a recently made 4K movie to understand the upgrade in quality!

Bought this 55" 4k after recently purchasing a 65" 4k. I have been buying Samsung tvs for some time and have never experienced a problem. This tv was easy to setup. The picture quality is excellent and the sound quality is excellent as well. I am very satisfied. I would also like to mention that the Best Buy Associate was knowledgeable of the product and in having the tv delivered to the store for pickup.

I was super excited to finally watch this movie. The acting was great and the story plot was decent. There were some parts of the movie that seemed a bit abrupt in plot change, and I found myself wanting more of an explanation between scenes. But if you're willing to fill in the blanks and appreciate the movie for what it is, then overall you too shall find that this movie was enjoyable.

I was hesitant going into this film in the theatre due to the mixed reviews, but i have to say it is a great movie which should be enjoyed by everyone. I say this movie is underrated due to the fact that I think people expected one thing and got something else. You should watch this movie and see it for it for what it is, a story about two people alone and surviving together aware of what the future holds.

If you like science fiction, this has it. If you like romance, this has it. If you like excellent special effects, this has it. If you like a good story, yes, this movie has that too. This isn't a Star-Trek style high-octane Sci-Fi action movie but a solid blend of drama, romance, action, intrigue, stunning visuals, occasional suspense, human psychology, and for me was a winning combination.

My wife and I enjoy sci-fi films and were a little wary going into this one since it looked like they were trying to do a date movie set in space. Well, we were pleasantly surprised to see more than just a love story. The first act shows the decision he faces, the second act follows their budding relationship, and the third act brings her decision to the forefront. What would you do if in their predicament?

This is really a great concept - one that hasn't been explored as far as I know and I watch a lot of sci-fi! A moral dilemma, a love story, spectacular special FX. What's not to love? I had read some negative reviews - I think people were expecting more action because Chris Pratt was in it. So, if you're expecting "Hunger Games" meets "Guardians of the Galaxy", you are definitely in the wrong movie!

I like these actors which helps make it more enjoyable. Good story of future travel to a new world when the automation goes off line and a passenger wakes up by himself too early. He entertains himself before choosing to wake another passenger and what they encounter and decided to live with "what is". Enjoyable :-)

I absolutely love this movie. The story line is so interesting and it is unlike a Sci-Fi or Fantasy movie you have seen before. Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt knock it out of the park. They are both such accomplished and outstanding actors - and paired together they are dynamite. This will become one of your favorite Sci-Fi movies!

The reviews were not good, don't believe them! This is a movie with tremendous visuals, awe inspiring at times! The story is thought provoking and really causes some introspective thought as you put yourself in the minds of the characters. There's really nothing negative to say about this movie, it's funny, it's exciting and it's touching in many ways throughout the film. Highly recommend seeing this!

This is probably the best 4K picture out currently. It literally looks like the movie is being acted out right in front of you. The story is great, but feels like it could’ve been done better, but definitely worth the watch, and for anyone that wants a 4K demo, it doesn’t get better than this. This is how you impress ppl at your 4K set up.
