I went to theaters to watch this movie expecting it to be some boring outer space movie! I really just went to see it because of Jennifer Lawrence But the movie turned out to be really good! . And the chemistry she has in this movie with the other actor is perfect! The movie is thrilling and great! After seeing it at the movie theaters i had to own a copy myself to watch over again with the family.

Really loved Passengers. It was a film that was waiting for the price to drop a bit to finally picked up. And I'm a bit glad I did wait. Though I am a big Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence fan, this movie was just little too predictable in my opinion. No spoilers, of course. But it was very entertaining along the way. Glad to have it in my collection. Glad I picked it up on sale.

So got my 4K HDR tv and purchased this beautiful movie. I was shocked you could see every wrinkle, out of place hair and even dirt and pores on each person's face in graphic detail. Kind of takes me out of the movie magic but I love it at the same time so I am sure it will grow on me. All that detail. Only reason not five stars is the color saturation seems odd in some scenes.

My main reason for buying this was to get the 3D version of the film I have no need for the 4K and I am mad that I was forced to buy it to get the 3D That being said the film really comes to life in 3D many of the special effect are very dull in 2D but the just POP in 3D. The film is only ok with only 3 actors being seen for the bulk of the film - but for me the 3D really makes it

I really liked the premise of this movie. Traveling to a new world but due to an accident someone wakes up too early. What to do next and the struggle to survive makes for a great story. I thought that there were a lot of ups and downs the characters go through which were really moving. The end may have wrapped things up a little nicely, but overall it was a fun movie to watch.

I really enjoyed this story and acting, but what really sets it apart is the production values and the visuals. This is some of the best 3D to date and I hope the director has more stories he'd like to share with us in the future. The 4K is also great. I only wish they'd find a way to make 4K and 3D available for the home marketplace. I have already recommended this film to many of my friends!

Missed it in the theaters, but I was glad to finally see it at home. Strong performances and believable sets combined with a good, compelling story. Great discussions after watching the movie about some of the moral questions presented. I'm looking forward to watching it again.

Being a fan of both actors i wanted tonsee this. It’s a bit slow moving, especially when he is by himself on the ship. The end has some good action and the pace quickens but by that time your kind of waiting for the movie to end. There are no real plot twists so don’t expect any. The story line is interesting and the acting is good so it makes it a good moving.

Great cinematography, dedicated and personalized acting make for an interesting and rewarding view of this highly imaginative and unusual Sci-Fi story. Jennifer and Chris were great - they single-handily carried off the story-line together. In a sense, this is one with a backdrop of an amazing visual world, impressive isolation and extended loneliness for an extended period of time.

Passengers is a Sci-Fi movie, but it has a little Love-Boat romance as well. Waking up 80 years early on a 120 year mission two people must cope with being alone and on a ship which is broken. How they deal with it is something you have to see for yourself. It's entertaining, thoughtful and up to date on the premise. Good acting, good script and excellent set designs.

Great acting. - Great character development - great CGI - Great writing with an eye to how humans REALLY react in both good and bad situations. Wishing Hollywood could get their act together not make more movies like this one that tell great science fiction stories without massive explosions every 2 minutes or body counts somewhere north of the hundreds... well done hands down....

Good movie. Good cast. Not a lot of action. Kinda slow paced but a good unique storyline.

This was a great story. It had action, drama, romance and comedy. There were only four main characters but they did a masterful job going through the story. Visual effects were wonderful, especially in 3D. I would definitely recommend getting the 3D version if your home theater is set up for it. The sound track is also excellent and makes for great listening without the movie.

Great movie! Not a a lot of people in this movie but still entertaining. Pratt and Lawrence did a great job. Has a little suspense with it on what will happen as you go along. It was worth the price I paid back during the holidays to own it and not have to watch commercials on cable channels.

I have confess that I thought the movie was good, but not great, the first time I saw it on streaming video. But after I purchased the 4K 3D Blu-ray and watched it in both 2D and 3D I really loved it. The imagery, sound, and plot are as solid as they can be and Jennifer Lawrence...we'll, what can I say. She gets more enchanting with each passing year. This is a Sci-Fi keeper!

I know that this movie is controversial and will not appeal to everyone, but I enjoyed it. The production design is amazing, Pratt & Lawrence work well together, and the overall story about what it is to be alone and the plot point about ethical behavior is interesting. I could understand if this film does not appeal to all though based on how you interpret it.

I thought the movie was good - it's not the best, but worth a watch. I gave the product 5 stars because the clarity and colors on the 4K HDR disc are phenomenal. The clarity in comparison to the HD blu ray is significant - you'll think the 1080 copy looks fuzzy. The HDR does wonders with the dark space backdrop. This is definitely one I'll be keeping to show off the TV.

Passengers is a wonderful exploration of space and of its two passengers that have woke up too early before reaching there destination to colonize a new world. It's also an amazing and unexpected love story that is perfect for a date night. Space, action, and romance...who could ask for anything more. Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are wonderful together!

Chris Pratt is one of over 5,000 people traveling in suspended animation to a distance planet to create a better life. But something happens along the journey that creates a computer glitch and wakes up 90 years too soon. After going crazy, being alone for a year, he decides to manually wake up Jennifer Lawrence. Its a great adventure with man vs machine.

I hadn't really heard anything at all about this movie when I first saw it. I had put it into my blu-ray queue simply because it was a sci-fi film I hadn't yet seen that didn't look like it would be a bad movie. Watching it I was surprised because it had a story to tell that wasn't just all about action, but posed some interesting moral questions.
