Things started out kinda slow, but this movie had me on the edge of my seat the rest of the way. THEN I saw it in 3D! Love the movie, but you MUST see it in 3D! I have always had to order my 3D movies from Amazon... until now! I had this and another movie requested, yet it never came available. Best Buy sold it to me for the same price (or less) and got it to me faster!

I enjoy science fiction and really enjoyed the movie. My wife will watch it, but really does not like it as I do and she really enjoyed the movie. The special effects are amazing and the story line is built around people and not around the special effects. Some movies today have poorly developed characters linking together the special effects. Overall it is a great movie!

This was the best movie of 2016. The setting of the movie takes place entirely on the spaceship, but it's a gigantic spaceship, so you're constantly seeing new areas and huge spaces. It combines science fiction with a love story, and the budget made the scenes awesome. The actors were perfect and the acting was great. You've got to watch it in 3D.

And a magnificent transfer on the 4K UHD version, which also includes a blu-ray 3D version, outstanding in its own right. You will be entertained by this criminally underrated thriller.

I thought this movie was a very interesting idea and looked absolutely wonderful in 4k. Having said that the ending was pretty bad as it just suddenly ends and you dont get to see the new planet all those passengers were shuttling to. I wont take off any starts for that because ive seen it now 3 times and still enjoy it every time. I would recommend watching this

I preordered this movie the day before it came out and when I arrived to the Best Buy in Marysville, OH about 30 minutes after opening, my movie was ready for me and I was in and out in a few minutes. My only regret is I wish I would have paid attention more to which movie I purchased because I got blue ray only and I would have liked to have the blue ray and DVD.

Good SciFi thriller film having you guess until the truth is revealed. Both actors were believable in their roles. Plot is typical human species looking for new place to live and heading there, when things aren't as they seem. You are waiting to find out the mysteries of the film until all is revealed. All is great as seen on high definition. I would watch again.

I have reason for not liking it, but at the same time I did not watch this movie is for those reasons. I wish that team would have marketed this movie as a sify romance vs sify thriller... It is a good watch.. in fact you enjoy it more second time as you know what to expect in this movie. Go for it. I watched this movie on UHD and details were awesome.

I really enjoyed this movie. Being a long time SyFi fan I appreciated the themes and the story. It's not the action packed thrill ride a lot of movie goers might like, and it had the bad luck to be released in theaters around the same time as the latest Star Wars movie, so it didn't do well. By for a SyFi fan, like me it hit all the right buttons.

I thought this movie would be a big, boring bust. But it turned out to be the opposite. I found it very "watchful" and suspenseful. If you're a fan of either of the leads, go into it with an open mind and I think you'll like it. It's not Star Wars, nor was it intended to be. It's a scientific-romance with some twists and it's definitely worth watching.

Whole family enjoyed the movie! Perfect timing with sale and the online order had fast delivery. Discounted price when purchasing 3 movies from a select group of movies. We had wanted the digital copy combo and it was perfect to be in the select group. Always appreciate the Best Buy deals!

I truly enjoyed this movie as it had my two favorites actors in it, Chris Pratt & Jennifer Lawrence. Pratt brings an originality to this role that really draws you into his plight. While Jennifer Lawrence is outstanding as always, I see a little to much Katniss in her portrayal. 4K special effects & sound have to be seen and heard to appreciate them.

Love / Romance / Action - all in space! This was by far one of the best movies in theater at it's time. I highly recommend this movie! Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence at their best! The special effects are outstanding! Truly phenomenal!!! I don't see how anyone couldn't like this movie. The plot, the twist, the whole 9/10 - Again, Highly Recommended!

While I realize many critics trashed this movie, I thoroughly enjoyed it. An intriguing story, great chemistry between Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt, and a number of interesting and somewhat unexpected twists and turns all combine to make viewing the movie a worthwhile, engaging experience. Plus, outstanding special effects to boot.

I enjoyed the film very much. I have only watched the blu-ray edition as I do not have a 4K player, although I plan to purchase one. The 4k, blu-ray, blu-ray 3d discs in one package is a fantastic deal as I have a 3d set. The 3d is impressive. I am looking forward to viewing it in 4k. My only wish is they would put out 4k versions in 3d.
