This is not a science fiction movie. It is a love story with sci-fi aspects. It is not your typical guy meets girl either. When faced with an ethical dilemma about being alone for the rest of his life after waking early from hyper-sleep or waking someone else, what does he do? Watch and find out along with seeing some pretty decent fx.

I really enjoyed this movie! Adventure, romance, deception...what's not to like! Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence star as passengers on a spaceship traveling to a distant planet several hundred years away. Can you imagine what it would be like to wake up on this ship with everyone else still asleep only to find out you are awake 90 years too soon?

I'll do my best not to give any spoilers, but this was not so much a Sci-Fi film as it was a love story. That being said I enjoyed the movie. I was expecting something a little more ominous with a darker plot reveal. Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence have good on screen chemistry and make you want to root for them. Good popcorn flick.

I enjoy the moral dilemma Chris Pratt's character faces. Sure, it would be easy to say you wouldn't do it, but would you? How can anyone say what they would do when put in that situation. The acting was great. Special effects very believable and I enjoyed the extras, which I don't' normally watch, but was intrigued enough by this to watch them.

This movie saw a lot of negativity when it was released, but people need to relax a little bit. At face value, it's a story of a lonely guy who falls in love with a girl. Did he make some questionable choices? Yeah...but sometimes reading into a story too much is bad. Enjoy this for what it is: a love story in space.

I had not seen this in theaters. It held up bit the ending was not.

Good story, good performances, good special effects, held my interest. Exactly what you want in a fantasy / adventure film. It also comes with a digital copy. The sad part is that it doesn't say that anywhere on the box, so we almost didn't buy it because a digital copy is a required element for our personal collection.

Heard a lot of bad reviews about this, but decided to watch it anyway because I like Chris Pratt. Maybe because I had low expectation is why I enjoyed it, but it's an interesting story of a man who wakes up too early and "releases" another to keep him company because he likes her. Anyway, it's worth watching, but maybe now owning.

I Saw this in theatre and I really enjoyed it enough to buy. Reason that I actually bought it was I bought 4k player on same day. So I had to have something sci-fi. I Love all the versions of film that are included 4K blueray and digital copy but 3D movies are it for me. Which was spectacular! Having all four versions are worth the price I paid.

This film is visually stunning and the cast is great. Plot is well crafted. Only issue with this film was trying to order it ahead of time. Website wasn't giving me the option to ship out nor store pick up. Till the day of actual release I was able to purchase a copy. When I got to the store there weren't anymore available copies.

I really enjoyed the movie. The concept was very interesting. From the space craft itself, to the robots. I realize that this is sci-fi, it makes you realize how far away we are when we look at the process we are going through to get to Mars. I thought the actors also did excellent work in portraying their characters.

This movie leaves you with all the feels and has eye candy for everyone. I love a movie that keeps you so absorbed that you forget all else. I also love that you experience all the emotions, joy, sadness, suspense, and an unexpected empowering message. In my eyes, you cannot go wrong with two of the most beloved actors of current times. :)

This movie is slow at the start and takes a while to figure out why the computer woke him up. The photography is good, computer graphics is good, video transfer is clean with good details in the shadows. The audio is excellent and if you have a good system and sub woofer, will provide a pleasant experience. Recommended.

I had low expectations for this movie given what I read about it in advance. Turned out to be much more enjoyable. Stupendous picture quality on this disk. The soundtrack is everything that movies of this genre demand.....atmospheric then dramatic. Can't beat 4k disc and Blu-ray HD versions in a single package at this price.

First of all, I love basically anything Chris Pratt is in. He's a great actor. And, I didn't think I would like the movie based on the trailer. But I loved it! And I've watched it multiple times since it came out. He and Jennifer Lawrence are both great in this movie and I like the concept. It's a great combination of humor and suspense.

Really looked forward to this movie since first hearing about the premise. I loved Interstellar and The Martian and thought this would be another great "what if" scenario. Definitely did not disappoint. Very limited cast - for obvious reasons - but each performance was spot on. Very emotional, very intense with a lot of funny moments as well.

I will admit that this film is another good one, but it seems to be a bit too draggy in getting to the initial hook of the film. They wait until the end and felt a little bit rushed, almost in a whiplash fashion. If you're looking for another good romance film, then this is the one for you but action adventure, not so much.

This review is for the normal Blu-ray. This film is about two passengers trapped in a luxurious space ship on their journey to a distant planet. Special effects are awesome and would always want to see more. Jennifer Lawrence is at her best and so is Chris. Had I know, I would have picked up 3D Blu-ray version of this film.

Loneliness taken to the next level. Very interesting proposition, what would you do faced with long term isolation. Wake up another passenger condeming them to never being with any else ever. Ultimate selfisness, ultimate despiration? Good story well told. Very good production and very good ceberial entertainment. Liked it.
