If you are a fan of Science Fiction you will really enjoy this movie. At first I was turned off by the reviews I read but my wife bought it and really enjoyed it even though she's not much of a Sci Fi fan. So I decided to watch it and wasn't disappointedly all. In fact it's one of the best movies I've seen in the last few months.

Love this movie all the way to the end. At least for me the story, characters and the plot was good. Specially if you like those movies that have something to teach, that makes us think how our life are right now. If you pay attention to the movie you will know what I'm talking about. No spoilers here.

Watching the trailers for this movie, it felt more like a sci-fi thriller with its ominous undertones. SPOILER ALERT - Instead, it was a well crafted romance set in a sci-fi setting. It is a well thought out plot with good acting. Some interesting moral/ethical dilemmas and decisions provide food for thought as ell.

I watched in 4K, HDR, with very good sound system and visuals and sound are really good. The story is unusual (don’t want to spoil it) and hard to get much excitement from the situation, but still it kept me interested until the end. Tough situation for the two main characters, wonder how we would had acted.

This was the first 4K movie we watched on our new home theater 4K up-scaling Epson projector and Dolby Atmos surround. It did not disappoint. Visually and audibly this was a great movie to test with. The story line was good, with the usual sci-fi plausibility holes, but then we were there to be entertained and for that we were.

I knew the premise for this movie and wasn't expecting much. I'm not a huge "sci fi" fan however, this was far better than I could have imagined. I totally loved it-it was almost haunting. I've rewatched it several times just to pick up the little nuances that I may have missed. Well worth your time and/or money to see this movie.

Fans of Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt will enjoy this futuristic look at space travel and some of the perils that entails. The movie has some great CGI footage of what "could be" in the future as they sail on a 90 year journey to a new colony while enduring possibly catastrophic issues with their transporter.

I just bought the 4K TV and player. I got this movie because I haven't seen it and wanted to try the 4K and I was impressed. If you want a very enjoyable, aesthetically and romantic movie to watch this is absolutely perfect. You never go wrong in space, the image was amazing. It's beautiful, well done, and makes you think.

I was pleased to see the 3d and 4k disc offered in the same packaging. I cannot believe that the 3d video support seems to be almost nonexistent in America. We all bought in to the tech and then the studios pretty much abandon the format, just for the consumer not the theaters. I would be the first to sign up on a class action.

The fifth star was earned on the movies playback. Excellent sound, picture , and overall quality of the product. The movie is interesting, entertaining, and gives a look into the near future. Should leave you thinking about some social issues . See if you can find them. Also, this is a romantic movie in the long run.

Good sci-fi romance. You don't figure that out though until the end. The trailers made it out to be a space thriller which was a little deceptive. While there were times you are left wondering if he is a good guy or bad or if some other nefarious persons are at work. In the end its a dramatic romance set in space.

For 2 years I have past over watching this movie on demand. One weekend I decided to watch on my DVR. I was hooked, this movie tugs at the heart strings. If I had been put in the same situation, I would have made the same choices. Watch and enjoy this movie it's worth it.

A mission enroute to another planet is disrupted and a couple of the passengers are awakened prematurely to face the consequences of growing old together while all of the other passengers (in suspended animation) continue on their voyage. Thanks to their efforts and Morgan Freeman who assists them as much as he can.

This is not just another sci fi movie. What do you do when you wake up from suspension hybrination heading towards a colony on a planet that takes 120 years, and you wake up 88 years early, alone of 5000 travelers? Think about it. What would you do? Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence are superb in their roles. Watch it!

I did not see this movie in the theater. I wish I had! It's an exquisite Sci-Fi creative work. Extremely entertaining! I felt the storyline was really very good and the actors were outstanding. If you're a chic flick movie junkie and don't like Sci-fi, you may enjoy this. Definitely not what I expected. Great adventure.

The cast chemistry really made this movie. Any time a movie only has a few cast members, it puts a lot of pressure for them to keep you engaged. This movie did that well. You do pretty much see where the movie is going, but it's still enjoyable to watch. And for me, for some reason, this movie kind of reminds me of Wall-E

I saw this originally from Redbox and liked it enough to buy it. The acting is great. I ended up buying it in 4k to go with a new TV and the movie really shines there, in some scenes it feels like you are in outerspace or looking at the night sky. Even with a predictable ending, there are some surprises.

This was a great movie. Excellent special effects and character building. This release was awesome because we were given 4K UHD and 3D and regular Blu ray plus digital copy! Steelbook was also a nice bonus! What an outstanding movie release! Thank you!

This is a great movie, the movie was shot in 6k then downmixed to 4K one of the view 4K movies that really takes advantage of all those pixels and great HDR, the sound track has tons of bass so be careful if you have more then 1 sub watching during night time, don't want to get a knock on the door from the neighbors.

Passengers is a fairly predictable space drama/love story built upon the premise of a group of people traveling to a distant colony. It does bring an interesting debate about consent and overriding desire to not be alone. Chris Pratt & Jennifer Lawrence provide good chemistry and enjoyable characters.
