I really enjoyed watching this movie even though I am generally not to much into sci-fi movies. The cinematography was excellent and so was the acting. The story line was interesting and riveting. An excellent movie to watch on a large screen. I have added it to my collection. enjoy!

My 1st 4K movie purchase and I'm very pleased with the entire process. It was the only copy in the store, located by customer service after I had looked everywhere. Jennifer Lawrence is stunning and Chris Pratt pulls everything together. Graphics are out of this world....pun intended!

Rented this once in "1080p" from a digital provider and found the movie entertaining. Once we purchased a Marantz receiver from Best Buy, we decided to purchase the movie in 4K/HDR/DTS-MA and really enjoy the experience. Very interesting plotline, my wife and I were entertained throughout.

After our hero wakes up early on a 90 year journey to a new planet, the delima begins. Alone aboard a spacecraft with thousands of hibernating passengers with only a robotic bartender for company and a breakdown of critical systems becoming more apparent, what is an Engineer to do?

I like original science fiction movies. I don't understand the dislike this movie generated when it came out. I guess there wasn't enough explosions. It is a smart, moving story about two people caught in an impossible situation. Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence are wonderful.

The special effects in this movie are spectacular; who wouldn't want to travel in space to another planet in a fancy spaceship? The story is good -- my wife really liked the storyline. Can't say enough about how cool the special effects of the space ship are. Blu-ray picture quality is great.

This sci-fi offering takes a long while to get started. Jennifer Lawrence, as always, is marvelous. But, the slow,plodding start ruined it for me. The story could have been told in half the time.

I am not a sci fi fan in general but I loved this film. Wonderful stars, technology and plot. 4 main characters is plenty and the whole time I was riveted. Still not sure how travel is supposed to work when the ship is rotating but ok. Artistic license goes a long way and works.

Very pretty movie. Had some spots that did not fit the story and were not realistic even for a fictional movie. I think Jennifer is an over rated actress who took away from this movie. She was not the right person for this movie. Overall still a good movie and worth watching.

Great movie wasnt what i expected but had a great story line and just think if you were traveling thru space for 90 light years and woke up halveway thru your trip all by yourself and still had 70 or so more light years before you reached your destination what would you do ?

I liked this movie even though it received a low rating. Chris Pratt on a 120 yr. space flight is brought out of hibernation 90 years too soon. Loosing his mind of loneliness after a year he chooses to purposely wake Jennifer Lawrence 89 years too soon. Yea it's beautiful.

4K and 3D presentation of this movie is amazing. The scenes outside the spaceship are so beautifully rendered you feel as if you are with the space walkers ! One of the best SCIFI stories that encorporates real human experiences embracing loneliness, desperation and deep love.

TRUE 4K content finally! The Audio & Video encoding on this movie are hands down the best in my 4K collection. Even if you don't enjoy the movie itself, this is the absolute PERFECT 4K media to demo if you're considering jumping into the 4K market or simply showing your setup off.

I watched videos on this movie and I didn't rent it before watching it. It was a great movie Pratt and Lawrence are A+++++ actors this movie was AWESOME!! The story and acting are great couldn't ask for a better cast. Lawrence and Pratt make a GREAT couple all around a great movie.

This is a cool idea for a sci-fi movie that turned into a romance somewhere along the way. I like both of the leads, but the movie tried to be too many things at once. Visually stunning, though, and still an enjoyable flick if you don't think about it too hard.

I will not address movie content, since Best Buy has no control over that. The physical movie and packaging were perfect, and it was a fair price. Unfortunately, I could not recommend the movie- my yes to the next question is based on the Best Buy experience, not the movie Content.

This is a great movie that basically is nothing that you would expect watching the trailer for the movie. It is a bit misleading watching the trailer to it but I really can not say much more about the storyline without ruining the surprise. Great space effects and a beautiful ship.

Passengers is a great sci-fi movie. The characters Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt play is detailed and depth. There is an underlying lesson in this and that it isn't always black and white. There is grey in between. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this movie and I think you will too!
