Evidently, sci-fi and cartoons are where the best 3D effects are located. They can do anything with computers, but not with real people in normal situations. If you are into 3D, you would probably like some of the effects in this one!

The storyline ( Early waking in space) is too close to the Alien movies to be very original but this is a romantic thriller, so i guess we can let it pass The 4k was very good, not reference, but very good. And overall a good buy.

This movie is phenomenal! Two of the most talented actors in Hollywood today brought this movie to life, the trailers did not do the movie justice, its superb in every way! It's also a beautiful love story too! Loved it all the way to the end!

This movies starts off good but then it starts to slow down a bit, for the character development. but when the action starts up again it is a lot of fun. decent story line and acting, great special effects. But a little predictable.

I've never sought out steel books in the past but with 4K they appear to be the same price or a dollar more so it's nice to grab one because regular cover art tends to be lame. Sony appears to be the only one doing it exclusively with Best Buy.

I didn't know what to expect from this movie, having not known anything about it. I expected it to look good due to it being in 4K. I was very happy to see that it had a good plot, and very original story line. I enjoyed it start to finish.

I liked this movie quite a bit. The imagery was beautiful. All actors did very good work and the 2 leads had great chemistry. It requires quite a bit of "suspension of disbelief" near the end, but extremely watchable, nonetheless.

This futuristic sci-fi has something for everyone. This is well casted for such a long film . Lots of details and gadgetry to keep you interested in this movie. Very well done soundtrack and great audio visuals as well.

I saw the start of this movie recently while on a cruise but did not get to see it all. I saw this at Best Buy on sale so I picked it up. It was a very good movie. Good special effects, I'm glad I picked it up.

The very dynamic duo of Jennifer and Chris give this sci fi flick interesting eye candy and effects are pretty darn good. I don't think the two of them are quite enough to carry the whole film. But 4 stars is definitely watchable.

Chris Pratt fans will not be disappointed. Great Sci-Fi action flick and well told with a minimal cast. Hard to find something fresh, but the two leads pulled it off with this one. Good price too, using myBest Buy Rewards points.

Fun Science Fiction movie that brings up many questions on what the right thing to do is and what you would do in that situation. The right thing to do and what you would do may not be the same thing. Very well done movie with great acting.

I saw this movie in theatres without knowing anything about it and came away pleasantly surprised. The picture quality when watching in 4k can be breathtaking. If you want to show off your new 4k tv this is a great demo disk.

I really enjoyed the simple but difficult deceision the lead character had to make and then how he had to deal with the consequences of his actions. I thought the backdrop of the space ship was really vast and believeable.

Saw this movie in the theatre and it was OK but when I found a 3D copy and watched the special effects jump off the screen, I was in awe! Especially awesome were the scenes of the stars floating in space on a tether.

Passengers is a good film. The problem is that it is a movie that clearly has a beginning, middle and end. And by that I mean you can tell when one act begins and ends, when the next begins and so on. The idea behind the film is really intriguing. However don't expect the film to touch on the morality of Chris Pratt's decision for much if that's what you're waiting for. The two leads have chemistry. The visuals are great. The problem is mainly with the story since the filmmakers played it too safe. The first 30-40 minutes follows Chris Pratt and it's great. Overall I would rent this before watching it since it's not for everyone.

I thought this was a great movie but was hoping for the ending to go in a different direction than it did. It was almost as if they ran out of budget and took the cheap way out. I will say that the CG on the ship was awesome!

I came into this movie not knowing exactly what it was about, just the main idea. I wasn't expecting some of the twists, but i did see them coming, but it was still a fun movie to watch. Different than other space movies. Worth a watch.
