This is a pretty good movie that made me laugh quite a few times. Good family movie.

I don't know how people can think this movie sucks. This was a great movie. Sure there are funnier comedies out there, but this one is good enough to make it on the list.

This movie was sorta funny, and sorta not funny. I mean its funny B/C you know mall security is just like that, they turn something small into something big, and they feel powerfull until the real cops show up. lol. It did have its funny parts though, dont get me wrong, but not as good as i thought it should be.

Mall Cop is another one of those blue ray movies that present it self as a high definition movie that is not an HD quality made film It is clear that this movie like many other blue ray movies was not filmed with an HD camera/equipment. Many film companies especially the big movie companies Such as Disney, paramount, Sony, and Universal among others are not making movies in HD blue ray but salling these movies at a HD price. The Picture throughout the movie is distorted and hazy around the actors and other images in all the scenes in this movie. So please be careful because all blue ray movies are not made in HD and they are charging us $30 to $37 for poorly made movies. Please rent them first before you buy them. it would save you a lot of money and disappointment. Buy the regular DVD instead if you really have to have this movie in your movie library or wait until the price is lowered This is not a true blue ray made movie, do not buy it at the HD price. Wait!! Do not be fooled by others who may say it is funny and a must have movie. I also rented the movie “defiance” as well and I will watch it tonight and give an up date on the HD quality in this movie as well. I hate to see movie companies rip people off of their hard earned money.

This movie really offers nothing special, and I am a fan of Kevin James. Very little (if any) longevity.

I love Kevin James in King of Queens and Hitch, so I thought this would be hilarious...especially from the tv ads. Nope! It was not that funny to me. It had its parts. The previews did no justice for the real storyline. It could have been better. It was more like a cop movie to me than just a funny rent a cop. My daughter liked it so maybe it's for teenagers...

Kevin James is much better in the King of Queens and I now pronounce you Chuck & Larry. I laughed maybe twice, and two laughs gets two stars. Another thing that I disliked about this movie was the "bad guys" who were even more stupid than the criminals from the Home Alone movies...I mean c'mon. Caution: Rent before you buy.

I think Kevin James can be so funny, this is something he shouldn't have even considered doing. I made it half way through the movie before I dedided that watching grass grow would be more entertaining.

It's one of those movies were you see the trailer and it looks pretty funny. Then you watch the movie and realize, the trailer scences were all the funny parts. The rest of the movie sucked!

This was a Kindergarten copycat of one of the Die Hard movies. I ADORE Paul Blart and feel if it were a different movie, it would have been great.
