Only 4 stars instead of 5 because his first purchase of these, the microphone broke after 6 months. Luckily we had purchased the protection plan and were able to replace it for no charge.

There is also a volume control set either the chat and game sounds louder or quieter than the other but it doesn't seem to work. The sound quality is very good.

It sounds great and he never has any connection issues. Incoming sound is good and his online friends have no issues hearing him.
