Works pretty good. Easy to put together when you first purchase it . able to hear and talk to other people online.

The headset is very durable, a quality product. Much better than the cheepo headsets found on ebay. You almost have to yell for the mic to pick up your voice. That is pretty much the only downside to this product. The speaker (earpiece) is awesome.

I bought this headset because it was a few bucks cheaper than the original Xbox headset and I thought the lights were cool. The sound that the headphone gets is good but I almost have to yell to get the mic to pick anything up. This doesn't bode well with me because I usually play at night when the kids are asleep. When I talk quietly my friends can barely hear what I'm saying. It is frustrating!

Purchased for My Son, He uses it at least 3 Hours a Day! This is the second one I bought for Him. The first one lasted about 6 Months, worth it to Me for the price. He says the sound quality is Good. He liked it better than the headset from Xbox!

It worked great for the first hour. Great sound, good voice projection, and adjusts to fit all sizes real easily. After about an hour the sound quit. Switched controllers but still no sound. Tried the manufacturers website for support but the site is not very helpful. Decided to return it and got a replacement. Again, the headset initially worked great but after about 3 hours the sound again quit. Returned this one too but went back to using the basic MS headset. DO NOT BUY the afterglow communicator headset. It does not last.

I would not recommend this product unless your looking for something cheap that will break I had this product for less than a month and it will not work granted I have horrible luck with mics since my 11 yr old son just destroys them two turtle beach sets and this one this yr alone.

My son has had these for over a year now. We have not had a single issue.

My 16 yo has theses. This is his 2nd pair of the "cheaper priced'. We have purchased the higher priced and they have not lasted us long. He has better luck with these!

great pick up for my son but the cord and plasticy feel scares me. Feels a little cheap but hasn't broke yet in a few months. It lights up as well which is cool.

Bought this product on 6-24-2012 . The light stopped work after 10 days and now 7-06-2012 you cant hear through headset only talk but at the rate it is going that will be out by tomorrow. Save your money. I only bought because sales at gaming counter said these were better than xbox 360 headset. I gave it one star because i had to JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK

This headset has a good mic boom, and the led status indicator is attractive, however the sound quality of the speaker is tinny and distant.

This headset is sturdy and the sound works great. My son loves this !!

My son wanted an inexpensive head set and this was perfect. About two months old and still doing what we paid for.

Needed to get a replacement headset for the Xbox 360 as my son still plays the older system with his friends. So far, it's been solid.

While it is good that it was conveniently priced at 20 dollars, however it can not match up to being better than the standard headset that comes with the Xbox360. The audio of hearing my party, made them sound like they were coming from cans and according to them...my mic had a heavy static sound what would come and go. I will be returning these and just get the original XBox360 headset.

I purchased this item to replace a headset I've had for about 3 years. The one I had finally gave up the ghost. I bought this headset after reading reviews and talking with a Best Buy associate that recommended this headset. Purchase date 1/28/2017; quit working on 1/30/2017.

Better than the cheapest headset, rugged, love the blue glow. Mic boom reverses which is nice.

The only thing this mic has going for it is it looks cool, and its cheap. The problem is it's cheap. Yup. Bought it after my Wireless MS Xbox mic died. Figured "this looks cool, and I dont have to charge it!" First time using it in a game, many people had trouble hearing me unless I was raising my voice. Essentially I was close to shouting into it. Certainly not something I would recommend, and plan to return. Go with the XBOX brand stuff, its the best bet, and I didn't have trouble with it. Only good thing, - plug and play, easy to use, but no quality. DO NOT BUY. DISAPPOINTMENT WILL FOLLOW.

Bought this headset when my old MS mic went bad. Figured it looked cool and was $2 cheaper. mistake. After only 2-3 weeks the headset suddenly dies in the middle of a conversation. Friends could hear me but I lost all sound. Went back to BB and got another one. Same thing happens 2 weeks later. This 2nd one I returned under warranty and went back to the old standard MS headset which is still working fine after the 3 week milestone. Afterglow may look cool at 1st, but their products dont hold up. I wouldn't buy again.
