This is a good product if you like to travel, I know most people dont like to travel with they’re canara because its always a hassel esspecially if you have a big camara. This device makes it very easy to travel and bring your gear along with you and allows for a lot of modifications for the way you use it.

Great way to secure your camera if you’re hiking or need both hands free. The release tab can be difficult sometimes to unlock the camera but overall the build quality is fantastic.

Excellent build quality and descent design. Should have a bottom thread under the quick release plate for tripod attachment.

I highly recommend this for anyone that likes to have their camera readily available, especially if you don't like to wear it around your neck! Feels plenty sturdy on your backpack strap.

Found myself taking more photos thanks to this little guy! I usually have my camera inside my backpack when hiking (and family trips), but taking it in-and-out was such a hassle that it was becoming mere dead-weight rather than a useful and exciting tool. It’s build quality is excellent, and sleek enough that it’s hardly noticeable if mounted on your pack strap without the camera in place. My biggest complaint is the price, but as mentioned the quality is definitely there. I’ve mounted my a7iii paired with a 24GM and 85GM and have not had any issues thus far. That being said, it is quite scary knowing that such expensive equipment is being held by a very small item at first. Make sure you check every screw before your day trips (put a dab of Blue Loctite if you want a more permanent solution) and you should be good to go!

Excellent build quality, pairs great with PD cuff or slide. Frees up your hand when out and about, and handles combined weight of my A7C+zoom lens (Tamron 28-200) like a champ. Base also works with standard tripod mounts. Definitely a valuable asset for travel photography.
One thing to note: works best with backpack straps because wearing on belt is a bit awkward: pointing release downward is risky, and upward can jab into waist.

Love this product! Clips my canon Eos R so easily and smooth. I have the clip stay on my backpack strap, great for hiking or any travel when you don’t want to carry the camera. The square base that attaches to the camera fits on SOME tripods but not all.
After long hikes on the mountains, rain forest, and volcanoes the clip stays secure on my backpack. Depending on the backpack strap thickness it’s very easy to clip on. I would definitely recommend getting it.

I saw someone using this clip on the strap of their back pack and had to have it. It's so user-friendly and secure. I don't worry about my camera falling and the locking mechanism just adds to that security. I love it so much that I went and got the corresponding tripod (also out of this world for design and functionality).

Although a little on the pricy side, I've found the Capture Clip to be an invaluable camera accessory. I've always had problems with camera straps as they just always seem to get in the way, but the Capture Clip has done a phenomenal job of being there when needed and staying out of the way when not. The only complaints I have are that it can be uncomfortable when using with bigger camera setups and that finding a spot to position it can be difficult on some bags (oddly including Peak Designs own everyday backpack).

What a solid design! Full metal, heavy duty construction gives you confidence that this clip won’t break. I use this for multi-day dirt bike and mountain bike trips so I don’t have to dig through my bag for a camera. Ease of use is nice and it’s simply to attach. My only cons are: Almost all of my backpack straps are too wide to securely attach this clip too. Wish it accepted a larger size strap size for more versatility. I have had the clip loosen up just a little during use, but I’m sure I’m pushing the boundaries on what this was designed to handle (dirt bikes and downhill mountain biking) with my R5 and 24-70 hanging off. Every time I stop for water I just do a quick check on tightness and keep riding. This has been invaluable for me as a professional motorsport/outdoor photographer.

These clips can fit on belts, backpack straps, bag mount straps...they're very useful. After getting one, I bought two more haha. The mount plate is awesome as it's the smallest/lowest profile Arca-swiss compatible quick release plate. I've heard they don't always fit some A-S mounts, but I haven't had any problems. You'll want the heavy support hip pad if you're carrying larger items on your belt though
