This is a good product and will probably be beneficial so some. I got this to use with Sony RX100 (I also intend to use with Sony A6300). I used it with the RX100 on a recent vacation along use my own evaluation of my iPhone. The comfort level of mount felt awkward (backpack strap and belt mount). The camera was positioned lens side down and it just did not feel comfortable. Perhaps the pending new product "J arm" to allow the camera to be positioned lens facing forward may help but I don't believe so....again, awkward positioning of weight on backstrap. Please note that my back pack does have a sternum strap so adjustments were possible...but couldn't get it to balance out. In my opinion, mounting on a belt (I have a wide /rigid utility belt; that provides a stable platform for mounting camera's, etc.) was a bit better. However, having camera positioned facing down was not providing a profile (upright) and weight distribution that I felt comfortable with. Again, the pending "J arm" may help...but I do not believe that this additional cost should be incur by the user and should be an accessory piece. Hence, I simply ended up having RX100 in a standard case and took it around. However, I ended up using my iPhone and its' features to compose shots and quick point and shoot. I will probably end up returning.

Awesome capture clip, complete with a locking version of Arca Swiss plate. You can tell it was designed by photographers that "get it." Looking forward to their future releases/innovations.

Best detachable quick release clip in the market. Won’t use anything else for my camera.

I really like the quick release. I actually like it better then the spider one my fiance has. Its a lot easier to work with then the spider quick release.

this is wonderful to use and easily transferable to different bags. I carry my wideangle on my camera with this. It's amazing im going to buy another one.

I really like Peak Design products, particularly their strap, and never thought would combine Peak Design and compromised engendering in the same sentence. Sadly, returning this produce as noted below. Originally purchased to carry a Sony 200-600 lens with camera mounted at waist level and quick attachment to tripod/monopod if desired with Arca Swiss mounts. Minor was slipping into receiver blindly, but suspect would eventually get the system down. The big issues have to do with the square Arca Swiss compatible baseplate, and a genuine Arca Swiss baseplate can't be substituted. a genuine (and other compatable) baseplates hare 1) rectangular vs the Peak Design square. I had some concern of weight concentrated on the square vs spread out on the rectangular which could put stress on a camera bottom it was attached to. 2) Genuine Arca Swiss has a female "V" edge that interlocks with the matching male "V" on the mount clamp where the PD basplate has a single edge that the clamp male "V" slides over. and 3) the Arca Swiss standard has left and right stops so it won't slide off if the clamp is loose where PD lacks the stops. While I also use the sling strap as a secondary backup - and everyone should - I couldn't risk expensive equipment sliding off the mount as the clamp loosens slightly.

Bought this for a trip to San Diego zoo. Was able to have my large zoom lens on my camera and didn’t have to worry about carrying the camera around my neck when not shooting.

This is a very reliable clip and every photographer on the go should have on in their bag! Highly recommend.

I haven't used anything like it, everytime I take photos it comes in handy. If you're willing to shell out a little extra cash of course.

This can hold 150-600 lens too. I am using clip for holding lenses.
