I love the Peak Design Camera Clip! This the third one I have purchased as I use one on my belt to carry my camera, one on my backpack, and one on my sling bag. I like how the base plate is arca-Swiss compatible so that I can take the camera off the clip and put it directly on a tripod without having to change plates.

My hiking experience with a DSLR has been transformed by the capture clip. I used to hike with a lowpro top loader on my chest until I have this clip a try. It was much more convenient to have the camera right at my backpack strap. I did hike on a beautiful day though. On rainy days, my camera will have to be stowed away in my pack. Regardless, I love the purchase.

Very sturdy and has never failed! Can go either on a backpack shoulder strap or on the side of a sling bag. Come with a nice little pouch to hold the allen wrench/key - but can be used to store other small miscellaneous camera accessories. Very easy to get the camera in and out of this.

This is a very good accessory. Very secure and easy to use.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do. The quality and craftsmanship are top-notch and everything clicks together with no issues. It's a bit on the pricey side though.

Using this on my backpacking trips has been great. So much better than having my camera hanging from the neck or holding it when I'm walking up a steep mountain. This thing is so well built that I have complete confidence the moment I snap it back on.

Very convenient. Used it for my NYC trip and whenever I wasn’t using my mirror less camera I just snapped it into the clip on my backpack shoulder strap. It kept my camera out of the way and no neck strain.

This camera clip is a must have for anyone with a camera that walks anywhere with a backpack. It makes my life so much easier in fact, I am buying a second clip right now for my other backpack so I am never without it! Worth every penny to me. Happy shooting! :-)

When going out to take pictures it’s used a lot. The plate that it comes with can just stay on your camera, and depending o your tripod it’ll fit that too. Perfect attention to detail, super sturdy and secure like it should be if it holds such expensive equipment. Highly recommend, but not a “need”.

If you like to walk around with a backpack and take pictures, this little device is a very attractive option. Yeah, base plate needs an allen wrench to secure to your camera and that's not ideal but it's just a minor inconvenience. More motivation to get a PD tripod, I guess.

This is a great tool. I primarily use it with the wrist strap. The camera is very secure, and it's weight is off your neck

I have been looking for something to carry my camera while hiking instead of just the strap around my neck which was straining. But I was also trying to find something that wasn't bulky. This product is great! It fits onto my Osprey packs and holds my Nikon D3300 12-80mm lens with no issues. Highly recommend.

Probably one of the most useful clip for your camera if you always on the move and do point and shoot without using an actual strap. Easy to take off and on for quick snap. Easy to install on your camera and bags. Great quality and built as well.

Probably the greatest accessory for camera uses. Incredibly useful and kept my camera secure but within reach for quick shots.

This was more than I needed. I did really need the shoulder clip, but once I saw how it worked decided to keep it. Ingenious!

I have this currently on my manfrotto bag. I had a sony with 135mm 1.8 sigma lens on this. Sigma lens is quite big and it held on with no problem. just make sure you have a backup harness though just in case. Other than that, this thing does its job and another great product from peak design!
