I can attach this to my backpack, sling bag, waist belt, and carry a host of items like my full frame dslr, camera lens or binoculars.

You can also get an attachment that clings to your tripod so you don’t have to switch out the pieces! Overall great for having your camera when you need it!

I love my black rapids but to secure they ho where this plate goes and to secure the camera while hiking is more important.

I don’t use often but nice to it’s there if I need it. It’s small and you don’t even know it’s there. Well made product

The release tab can be difficult sometimes to unlock the camera but overall the build quality is fantastic.
