More for kids... but, it had a few funny moments..

Keep kid occupied. Adults ki Like too Great price

I've always loved The Penguins. Really thought this would be a whole lot of fun... but I found it to be really flat. Young kids might find it entertaining. The 3D was great. The movie just really wasn't that funny nor entertaining.

The movie was penguins but no real story line I am used to funny lines I was disappointed The 3 D was OK I would not buy this I would rent it if you want to see it and then make your own mind up

This is a video only for small children because they can enjoy the same thing over and over. Not much is new in it. Not enough for adults. PS - I like the earlier videos in this series.

Movie was okay, mainly for children, less so for adults, though the 3D effects were nice.

I like the animation, the characters, the plays on words or jokes that are fun for adults as well as being good entertainment for kids. Got this to build my DVD library for kids that I also enjoy.

Unless you like the Penguins of Madagascar TV series on Nick, don't buy this movie. It's just a very poor Spin-off based on the Madagascar movie series.

We personally didn't care for the movie. Not one of the better animated flicks we've seen.

Definetly not worth as a collector item. Toys were stopped working the same day

This is an example of bad quality tv shows. It wasnt very good

The Madagascar movies are hit and miss for me. The kids love them, but I mostly tolerate them. Except for the penguins. I love the penguins. When a movie with them as the stars was announced, I groaned -- much like I did when a movie starring Gru's minions was announced. Too much of a good thing and all that. I was pleasantly surprised. The movie was silly, yes. Absurd, even. Unlike the Madagascar movies, which try to wedge in warm fuzzy moments that just don't work, this movie just lets its freak flag fly and goes for broke. As with any movie that does so, its rapid fire jokes are sure to have a few duds. Not even the original 'Airplane!' or 'Top Secret!' are completely dud-free (and they are the pinnacle of intentional absurdity, IMO), so that doesn't worry me. The question is, what's the hit:miss ratio? I'm happy to say it's very high. I laughed a lot. A whole lot. A whole stinkin' lot. I read some reviews on IMdB from some folks who must be really unhappy. They complained about the lack of "relevant" jokes, like corporate greed, the environment, global warming, what have you. All I can say, thank God the movie avoided those things like the plague. Message movies are rarely funny, except for the wrong reasons. Like message books, they tend to collapse under their own weight (and I say this about the movies and books that have messages I actually agree with -- the main reason I think most "Christian" movies and books stink -- but I digress). So, if you're looking for a movie with some political message PRESENTED BY TALKING PENGUINS, you're sure to be disappointed. If you're looking for a movie that is silly and entertaining with a lot of laughs, try it. You might like it.
