The leads are good but the film feels small and slow. Chris Columbus diminishes original source material again.

I thought the movie was good. Story line was above average, but I think the casting could have been better.

I loved this movie. It teaches you about greek mythology but in an interesting way. The characters are great. Logan Lerman and Alexandra Daddario and Brandon T. Jackson where excellent. I believe they should make the rest of the series. The effects where great. I recommend this movie to all ages!!!!!

The movie was great. I went to it with my fiance on Valentines Day of all days...I was prepared to be disappointed and it was fantastic! I don't know what the person who said it was terrible was talking about. I read the books and THEY were AWFUL! The writing was absolutely terrible in the books. I read all of the time and I struggled to finish them. The movie is fantastic though. Definitely a thumbs up and I definitely think that they should make the second one. Rick Riordan...you're a terrible terrible writer...Chris Columbus...Bravo!

A magical storyline about character percy Jackson going through his young life feeling like a misfit and not understanding why. As the story progress' and he discovers who he really is and what he is capable of it becomes even more exciting and heartwarming with excitement and sadness and frustration mixed in. It was truly a great escape and fun filled time watching this movie and I cannot wait for sequels to this movie to be made.

movie is nice, plot is fine, like the message it gives, did not like Medusa being dressed in black leather like a halloween costume. Liked the effects. Acting of the main actors was good. Good family movie. My daughter ( 9.5 years old) loves the movie.

I have read The Percy Jackson series and was glued to the books, this movie/DVD interpretation is not worth the time wasted watching it ! The story line is hashed beyond recognition and not true to the fantastic books. The special effects are simplistic at best, the only saving grace is the acting. All I can say is ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?
