This is a fantacie movie that I though would be good for kids. Not so much, that being said it is OK for viewing.

Although, I was charged incorrectly for the movie which I purchased; the movie was great to watch.

This could have been a great movie. The basics of this story is good, they just did a poor implementation

Movie was okay. Didn't see it in the theater so, I wasn't sure what to expect. Prefer the first movie.

I felt the same way about the first Percy movie - should have learned from my first mistake.

This story picks up smartly from the previous story. It then lends some humor with the new half-brother to Percy. This new character is not one of the beautiful people that seems to pervade the camp population. Though rough and sometimes clumsy, he is likable since he comes off as more normal than the other camp prima-donnas . The large question mark at the end is: does Percy also have a sister? Stay tuned!

My 9 yo son was into the Percy Jackson novels, so naturally he has been a fan of the movies as well. Spent a great Saturday in-house movie night with my boys (but it was a tad scary for my 5 yo). Good, fun movie if you're into Greek mythology & some action

Percy Jackson is off to his second adventure to save the Half-Blood Camp from being attacked from mystical forces and creatures. He needs to go to the ends of the Earth to get the Golden Fleece to cure the sacred tree that was protecting the camp and is now dying. Great storyline and action sequences that are dramatically enhanced by the 3D format.

The 3d is in this disc is more subtle but gets the job done. It is not stunning, but the conversion is worthwhile to own espcially for 3D blu-ray collector's.

A good movie series based on the book. I watched both of the Percy Jackson movie.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. It's comedic and has such an interesting story line with all the Greek mythology worked into present times. Was hoping they would release the third installment by now.

Drawing from Rick Riordan's series of books it continues to follow Percy. After saving the world in his first outing, saving the gods from an elder god does feel like more of the same. A few twists and plot devices lead to some development of the characters, but ultimately prove a bunch of teenagers to be, well, a bunch of teenagers. Filled with angst, worry, and bravado. It was enjoyable, but far from a classic.

This is a fine movie, but I've had 2 Blu-rays fail in a Panasonic and a Samsung player. Streaming worked fine on the AppleTV.

Probably made as an attempt to cash in on the popularity of other book-to-film adaptations based on children's and YA series (Harry Potter, Hunger Games, etc) - this series does not reach that standard of quality. FX are OK in some areas, poor in others. Acting is OK but the story feels a little disjointed. I suspect it's more enjoyable if you've ready the books first.
