There are good things and bad things about this remake, and about the original. Clearly, the original is better. The tone of the original was much scarier. This version was not bad though. I thought it gave the audience more sympathy for the characters involved, and the oldest daughter dying gave us more input on what was going on in the minds of the recently risen characters, with her dialogue. It was certainly a more interesting take and the situations made more sense in real-world applications. It may not be something you want to watch all the time, but it is something you definitely should see at least once if you're a fan of the original.

its a great update new twist and turns that give it a different themes that are explored looks great and nice horror atmosphere

Had seen the original before, so was kind of skeptical about the remake. My husband and I were not disappointed. Great remake.

Good revisioning on the original but there really can be only one. That said the extras were jam packed in this dvd as well.

Another ruined classic. If you like the original then you'll probably be disappointed. As a movie it was good. I liked the story and visuals... but it was not the same as the original. I wish film companies would stop messing up movies.

It’s like an updated version of the other one but still has a surprise in it , Would definitely recommend this movie

Like many other remakes, they just don’t always stand up to the original. The same goes here. I mean, the movie is good and have us some laughs, but the original is a timeless classic. This was worth the $9.99 we paid, though.

This is a good movie and a great movie on 4k sharp picture and great sound if u got a after market sound system

Gorgeous looking steelbook. The artwork on both the back and front is bold and grim, Perfect for a movie like this.
