    A few different things twisted from the original. Plenty of jump scares and gruesome. Worth a watch.

    The novel is such a downer—good, albeit still a downer. This film does what it can and while not wholly successful in capturing the desperation out of Louis Creed, the quick slip into insanity is done well.
