I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. Went in with lower expectations as I'm not big on remakes, but this one wasn't too bad. A couple of differences from the original, but nothing to damage the overall story. Good movie.

This was a pretty good movie, lots of action and great work on the cinematography. It's very much like the original. There are a few twists and turns. It's well worth a watch.

This is a remake, not a sequel. Bought this for my wife and son, who both like scary movies. I love reading King, so it is always interesting to watch the transition from words to pictures.

It's one of those scary movies that's fun to watch but isn't exactly a masterpiece. I would recommend to anyone that is into scary movies for sure.

ONE OF STEPHEN KINGS BEST. UNFORTUNATELY, THE REMAKE DOES NOT LIVE UP TO THE ORIGINAL, BUT IS STILL WORTH A LOOK. LOOKS GREAT ON 4K - THAT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I don’t like remakes.... the first Pet Cematary was good. Liked how the story line held true to the first then took a dramatic turn to surprise me who saw the original years ago. Stephen King knows how to tell a spooky story.....kinda curious to see if a part 2 will result like the original did.

I really enjoyed this film, and I love the cover art here on the steelbook. This is somewhat of a tangent to the review, but the alternate ending is SO MUCH BETTER than the film's original ending! I'm glad they included it on the Blu-ray.

Saw Pet Sematary in theaters when it came out & picked it up as a Christmas gift for my little brother. Has decent bonus features, but the movie itself is alright.

this wasn't as good as the original, they tried changing it up so it didn't follow the exact same timeline it was just ok, can think of better things to spend money on

I am usually against reboots and remakes. This was way better than I thought it was going to be. I'd say give it a chance and go in with an open mind.

In many ways an improvement over earlier flick. There are fewer plot holes and the special effects are more believable in this remake.

Honestly I expected a lot better from this movie. It's not that it's a bad movie but at the same time it just really isn't that good either

If you looking for a good adaptation of the book, well this ain't it. So many things wrong with this movie, just stick to the original.

I think this edition of Pet Sematary bests the original film. But I don’t know that the first film set the bar that high.

This the same characters but with some changes so it's different from the original but still the same underlying story.

This was a good movie but I didn't think it was as good as the original. Still a good movie to watch and for your collection

It is not often that I say that a sequel or remake is entirely better than the original but in this case, it is. The movie is more suspenseful and the 4k along with the better sound is too good to be true. I highly recommend.

I enjoyed this movie but not as much as I did the original version. All in all a good movie.

If you saw the original movie, then sure this is worth a watch just for the comparison. But this isnt anything special.

Good horror movie. Having watched the previous version, and read the book, there were some surprises in this version.
