One of my favorite horror films from my childhood.

This film looks fantastic in 4k. I picked up this film around Halloween, because it was a good price point, but it really surprised me with how well it looked in 4k. They did a great job with the remastering of the film. The steelbook is pretty cool, but I knocked it down a star because of the low quality plastic used on the slip cover. I looked at a few different copies and the plastic cover was cracked or broken on all of them.

After tragedy strikes, a grieving father discovers an ancient burial ground behind his home with the power to raise the dead. Then he discovers the other side of re-birth. One of Steven King better novels brought to the screen.

This was a blind buy. Never saw the movie before. The picture quality is great the artwork is amazing and I love the plastic slipcover. I really dislike this movie though which is sad because I do enjoy Steven King

It's an ok Stephen King film, not the best adaptation of the books but I wanted the steelbook to add to the other Stephen King movie steelbooks I recently bought at Best Buy.

I know that this is a classic. And I've seen it before, its a pretty good movie and I know that the remake of it might be pretty good also in which I've haven't seen it yet.

This was a great deal. I’d always wanted to own this on 4K and getting it in the steelbook version was just the icing on the cake! Great classic movie and this version looks and sounds better than ever before.

The 4K and HDR are pretty awesome in this movie, especially for how old it is. But you can’t escape the fact it’s a 30 year old horror movie lol.

The original prt sematary is an average film at best, but this steel book and my love for horror movies makes this a good buy.

Bought this by mistake, thought it was the remake 2019 version. More cheesy than I remember. Acting is not so good.

Missed out in this steelbook in my area when this came out but now i wasnt going to miss out! Like i said, awesome looking steelbook. So happy this one is in my collection!!

I’ve always loved this Stephen King classic. I was very excited to get this Blu-ray being that it also included a digital copy of the movie. This is very important to me as I like to be able to watch the movie without loading the disc.

4k is beautiful on a movie this old one of Stephen kings classics is as scary as I remember it love the cat

While many tend to think of the slasher films from the 80s and those were good films, Pet Semetary is a solid horror film that provides many thought provoking issues. It has earned its place as a cult film but also feels like it should be rated higher among King’s classics. It’s true the film has aged some with the times, however the video an audio quality on the blu ray disc remain solid with good detail.

Pet Sematary to a degree is what you'd expect from a Stephen King adaptation. A supernatural force, ominous situations, and interesting characters are all present. The movie has an oppressive atmosphere that lets you know things will definitely go wrong, and soon. The plot is pretty good but nothing too unpredictable. Overall, it has the feel of an 80's/early 90's horror flick and if you're into that sort of thing, give this one a try.

While the best is the scariest of King's novels, this movie feels a bit hokey. The presentation is superb.

Movie is ok, but it is a classic from the late 80's. I finally added this to the horror collection.

This is an OK upgrade from the 1080p release, one of the weaker catalogue titles in my opinion. Nothing Demo worthy on this disc there is film grain and DNR so it can look strange in certain scenes. Audio is same 5.1 mix from Blu-Ray so that's a bit disappointing. Would wait for a sale on this one but still looks better than it ever has.

On one hand this is the best this movie has ever looked. On the other hand, this UHD has a very processed look and they clearly meddled with the original. Probably worth it for fans, especially since the steelbook looks great, but otherwise this is tough to recommend.

Tin art work awesome. 4k quality so much better. Would recommend this to every horror fan.
