I bought the movie because I liked the story. But it has made my grandchildren a movie to remember. I have 11grandchildren and it has been passed around to all of them and their families.

My son and I love love love this movie. It is such a fun movie and takes me back to my childhood, makes us feel like just running out to the woods and exploring for hours on end!

This is like the cartoon brought to real life except that it has more action and draws you into the feelings of Pete and the dragon. A real movie to watch, not just a cartoon anymore!

A young boy lost in the woods befriends a dragon, but they are torn apart. Pete's Dragon was a welcome surprise and pretty serious for a Disney remake. I really liked it!

We took our kids to see this movie when it came out in theaters and they really loved it. We all thought it was a really good movie to add to our collection. I definitely recommend it!

I hate remakes and was not thrilled about watching this one but I am so glad I did. It is excellent in a new way. It holds the original idea of the story but changed in an amazing way

I loved the live action version of this movie. The actors did a great job and I liked how it was a twist on the original so it didn't take away from the classic.

I was unsure at first about the look of this remake but found it intriguing once I let go of comparing with the original and gave the movie a chance. It was fun and enjoyable and I also enjoyed watching the original and remake the same day. Special effects were nicely done.

I think Disney could have done a better job with a dragon character. I was REALLY looking forward to this child hood classic! It was a little boring and unfortunately the dragon wasn't quite what I think he could have been. All in all it's disney so it was good but not great.

I don't usually like when an old movie is redone but this one was great. My kids age from 9-16 and they all enjoyed it. Similar story line as the classic but also a plot of its own

Well I wasn't prepared to make the move, but they did a pretty good job at bringing back my childhood with this one. A must see for any kid who grew up on original Disney movies

I was a fan of the original. but this has impressed me greatly. They changed the story, but I think that was what made me like it. It was a whole new take on the story. Well done

The movie is good but it is not the original and it's not a musical. Elliott comes off as a little scary looking but other then that it's a good heart warming movie.

As long as Disney is in the rut of remaking it's old movies and trying to cash in with as little effort as possible they could at least make the attempt to make the stories as good as the original cartoons. They did ok with the Jungle Book but this one rather falls flat.

This is a great remake I love this movie I have watched several times and went to the movies twice to see it once with my husband and then we went again to take our grand kids

I commend Disney on taking one of their less popular films and recreating it into a deeply moving and engaging experience that strikes all the right chords with its audience.

Pete's Dragon is a captivating movie with great action, wonderful cinematography, and a heart warming story. It's a movie that everyone in the family can relate to and enjoy.

My family and I saw this in theaters and knew right after that we wanted to own it! It's not too often where I like the villain character just as much as I like the the hero!

I didn't think I would like this remake but I loved it. Very well done and I would recommend it to anyone who like the some animation and some real actor type movie format.

This movie is great! I was afraid that it was not going to be like the original but it was wonderful. The plot is the same but it has been redone to fit the modern audience.
