Although the storyline isn't the same ( or even close) to the original version my family enjoyed a few decades ago, it's a wonderful, warm story that my grand babies loved.

This is a wonderful fantastic family movie. The younger kids will love it. It's s beautiful fantasy and creative. Even my parents enjoyed it. I would recommend it to all.

Great new version to the childhood classic! Loved it! Made me cry. Especially nostalgic to those who saw the original as children. Definitely one of my favorite movies.

A solid live-action remake of Disney's Pete's Dragon. More serious in tone than the original 1977 version, this film does not have the musical numbers but does have a lot of heart. A touching ending and a nice cast. The Blu Ray print and extra features are great.

I gave this to grandson in his Christmas stocking. He was thrilled with getting a movie and couldn't wait to watch it. He has told me about the magical Dragon many times.

I liked the original when I was a kid, and wasn't sure about the remake, but it is a whole new movie just with the same name. Very nicely done, glad I got it.

Overall just a great remake of the Disney classic. Amazing story and cinematography and great visuals. Well casted and will be a favorite in our house for years to come.

My grandkids enjoyed this movie & have watched the blu-ray a number of times now. Plus they get to watch the HD Digital movie when they are on the go.

Made this purchase based on my memories of the first one with Helen Reddy. Should have released a 4K version. Those trees in the forests never would have looked so good.,

I really enjoyed this movie. I thought it did the original movie justice, still making it unique and special enough to buy on its own. Plus I bought it at a great price!

This was such a great remake live version! We really enjoyed this movie. It's kid friendly + teaches some great lessons. I love Robert Redford, so it was perfect for me!

Not your regular light-hearted Disney movie. This modern version uses CGI over animation, including a dragon, that while is cleverly designed, may scare some preschool-aged children. Still, a nice story that should appeal to many families.

At first when pics of Elliot got released I was like "why did they give a dragon fur" but when I saw the movie I didn't care anymore because the movie was done so well.

One of my favorite movies growing up...this was as heart warming and good as the original. Elliot was just a lovable as the original. Highly recommended for everyone.

Such an underrated movie. It’s beautifully shot and the acting is fantastic. Such a timeless film, it reminds me of a Spielberg film. Totally recommend it.

I love the old Pete's Dragon. So i wasn't sure about this one. I loved it! My kids who also loved the old one didn't want to watch this. but they couldn't walk away.

This was a delightful movie and I never read or saw and other "Pete's Dragon" movie or book. It was just so beautifully done and did my heart so much good seeing it.

We rented this movie at Redbox. It was so good that we had to have it! Now we just need to get the grandkids out here with us so we can share it with them!! :)

I saw this movie in the theatres, and just loved it so I decided to purchase it for my collection at home. The dragon is very reliastic, and love the story line.
