Good story line , good special effects , good acting

Pretty much the same story as the original storyline

This movie brought me back to my childhood. Awesome!

I purchased this movie for my 5-yr old who's obsessed with dragons and Best Buy had it at a great price given it's a Disney movie, however my son just could not connect with it. It didn't hold his attention for more than a few minutes. I was disappointed.

Fun movie, great for kids too! Loved it this movie!

Miss the animation but this film stands on its own.

My gf is a big Pete's dragon fan. She had not seen this in the theater, so she bought it without knowing if it was any good. After watching it, she liked it, but said it wasn't what she expected and it wasn't as good as the original.

I grew up with the original Pete's Dragon. I showed it to my daughter when she was young and she watched over and over. While this movie is based on the original it is it own movie with different twist and not a musical.

If your expecting the same storyline with singing all through the movie like the original, than your going to be disappointed. But this remake with the special effects of the dragon really turned out great.

Cute movie. However, when you've grown up on the original, it is hard to like a remake just as much. Wished they had of stuck to the original storyline instead of coming up with a totally different one.

This is your standard Feel god Disney movie. If you are a strong Disney fan, you will enjoy, but it will not make your top ten. If you are not a strong Disney fan, you probably just want to skip

I think they should have made this film for another family and not remake the original. This was slow moving and wasn't as good as the original. A little scary for younger kids.

I grow up with the orginal and in my opinin this falls short in living up to the orginal. Visually appealing but still lacking the orginal feel that I loved as a kid

Nothing like the origina, was hoping for it to be closer to the original, I am sure children will love it but for us who remember the original its nothing alike.

The kids seemed to like it but haven't watched it again. Effects were good but the story wasn't what I expected. Maybe rent before you buy.
