This provided the best upgrade both in style and features. I doubt I could survive the day without it ...fortunately I don't have to ... (and yes it does occasionally travel with me!) I have definitely recommended this model to other coffee lovers I know.

However the expresso bean holder does not allow the beans to naturally fall into the grinder you have to manual push the beans down every so often. Also, you need to deep clean regularly or it will grow mold in the grinder area.

However, for other drinks, the milk foam is minimal, it's quite loud, and worst of all, it's plastic, meaning it will likely only last two years.

Great upgrade over the previous models

The last one lasted about 10 years of constant cups made during the day, so we went with Phillips again. For the price (about $800.00) this is an excellent machine that grinds and makes a variety of espresso type coffees. Even the frother works well. It has enough features to keep even the most demanding coffee folks happy.
