The DVD player quality itself was ok but the car adapter kept breaking apart. Bought another adapter for $30 at best buy to have it to just stop working? Best Buy employee thought it was bad wiring? Anyway went with insignia brand.

Player works great, but the door latch is flimsy. Pops open every time I hit a bump. Couldn't take it back so going to add Velcro strap next time I use it for my grandkidd.

This was actually a second replacement of this brand. The first set lasted a year and I utilized my warranty to get a replacement. The second set I just replaced with the warranty. They worked great until they didn't.

This is my second purchase of these players. First set stopped working after a few years. Doesn't seem to be a quality product out there.

I wasn't too happy about the way that the units hooked onto the headrests. I didn't feel like they were very sturdy and was very loose

For the price I would expect a little better quality since it is exactly like the ones I bought 5 years ago but paid more now!

This was a terrible dvd player. over heated and then stop working.

This system lasted 6 months. I would never purchase anything with Philips on it again. The dvd player would flop open so we taped it shut every time we changed the dvd then av cord was not working so we couldn't use the second screen then the car charger stopped working.

We only got to use it on our first car trip from Connecticut to Pennsylvania before the player would not stay closed anymore thus not allowing the DVD to play. The only way we were able to play the DVD was to scotch tape the player closed. Ridiculous. Sending it back.

I have gone threw 3 of the DVDs player within 6 months. Over time the hatch won't lock on . While driving the slightest bump the DVD player restart the movie. Wouldn't recommend this to no one.

Worked for only 5 months..screen stays black when I power up the DVD player.. Very upset that it didn't even last at least a year.

These were purchased for a long trip and they worked out great. We've only used them twice so far but they have exceeded our expectations. Happy kids = happy parents on a long trip.

My son loves this products, he has one on his room and the other is always in use on the car

These were ok for a few months. We have 2yo twins and the dual screens were really nice especially for long car rides. The picture is pretty nice and volume wasn't bad. We didn't have any problem with skipping but the one screen would get fuzzy on occasion. The one started acting weird and within a week it stopped reading the disc. We tried putting the disc in the other one but that one wouldn't read it either(tried several DVDs). Can't really believe they both died at the same time, but now we have none that work- not an easy thing to explain to two 2year olds!! We probably used them regularly for 7-8 months- not acceptable, especially for the price I paid. Also, I didn't like that there was no remote. If their movie ends in the middle of your trip, you can't restart it while driving. I can't imagine why you would make something like this without a remote. I definitely would not buy this again.

The player works great but the on/off switch broke within a few months. Now it needs to be unplugged to be turned off.

This came in handy when traveling. The picture quality is really good.

Made the drive to and from vacation a breeze. Works great and no issues as of yet. Kids use it non stop.

had my first set for two weeks and the second screen cut off... went back and received another one and only after 2 months the second scene has cut off again! going to try to a different brand!

Got for Christmas 2014 product lasted less then year got news one from philips new n box sent old ones back new one also lasted less then a year called philips they would not help or replace them said that warranty had ran out on product less then year old

Low quality product, i couldn't find an audiovox unit, so i decided to purchase this one, mistake only lasred 1 road trip before one unit started to fail. After second trip the other one went out.
