It's very difficult to find dual 9 inch portable dvd players that can show separate movies. Installation was quicker than our last set of 7 inch players, and the connections were way easier. With the control buttons being so small & tricky to reach, not having a remote control really becomes noticeable. Overall, the boys are happy, so the driver is happy.

the dual DVD players were easy to install and provided an excellent picture for my grandchildren to watch. They can be separated and placed into 2 cars or connect them and have 2 screens in one car.

After doing research on portable devices for my kids to use in the car, this seemed very reasonable and effective. So far they love it, and it makes long drives a lot more bearable.

The Philips 9 inch dual screen portable DVD player is great for kids in the car and when traveling for the hotel room. Both boys and girls have their choice of cartoons or when there is a significant age difference. I would highly recommend this product and have purchased 3 sets for the grandchildren.

great picture and sound for 2 weeks, then quit working

I have use these DVD players on two trips and they work fine. They are not well made and I see problems with kids using them have to be careful with them not real durable

So far works great with no issues! We love that you can play 2 different movies. Having so many long cords with a toddler in the car and buttons on the front of the screen that the baby can push is an issue. I also wish that the screen didn't open towards the seats, I'm worried the kids might pull it too far and it will break. It would be nice to just slide the dvd in like a car CD player. But, overall it's working out great!

Needed a reliable Portable DVD player to be used in a hospital patient room. The best DVD player with perfect picture and sound. Now I use it at home ! Love the product

I bought this for the grand kids to travel with. They have used it with headphones on a 3 hour trip and it performed well. It has done everything I expected it to do. Cannot give any feedback on durability since it has only been used one time. Time will tell for reliability & durability.

We like the size of the screen, the color display while watching a DVD is very good. We just have a problem with the strap for attaching to the backs of the front seat, it is pretty short. Otherwise we are happy that we purchased The Phillips-9" Widescreen TFT-LCD Portable DVD Players.

Love these, great for my 2 year old, hard for her to get at the dvd, unlike my Sony ones, only wish the picture was as great as my Sony but good enough for children

the portable dvd players came as advertised. picture quality wasn't hd but I guess that wasn't going to happen with these dvd players. kids enjoy them with no issues.

Used solely to entertain the kids while driving. Works very well and what I like mostly is it starts back up exactly where you left off. Can use a wired headset if you prefer, especially if watching two different movies together. And it does NOT skip if you hit a bump while driving. Not a lot of wires and easy to hide them. And taking them off the headrests for storage is simple. As for now its all working as expected.

Good player. Love having dual monitors playing seperate movies for the kids. Would like to have remote. The cords easily tangled and can get caught on feet etc

It would have 5 stars but the car plug fits into the outlet a little loose, so every time u slightly bump it the DVD players turn off and then back on again.

This portable duo screen dvd player works great. my only negative comment is, it does not have a rechargeable battery. Only then would it be fully portable.

I love this dvd player because you can play 2 different movies. My kids love it and you don't have to spend lots of money. I wish it had a remote and a battery though.

It's a good portable DVD Player. Easy to use & the size is just right!!

I packed a "shut up, we aren't there yet" bag of goodies to keep our 13 and 15 year old blissfully unaware of how long they had actually been seated side by side. The Philips was a part of this goodie bag and was a hit! They loved the fact that they could watch separately or together. The screen size is perfect and clear. Headphones are not included and definitely recommended. You slide the DVD in from the top as the Philips is designed like a clamshell, so, younger children may have difficulty using this. However, pulling over a few seconds for a couple hours of peace would be worth it.
