Very good quality. IT has a great picture and is easy to set up. The kids love it.

We purchased this item to travel since my car didn't have a DVD player. They worked great!!! Both my kids were able to watch their own movies. The trip we took was over 10 hours and the players worked perfectly the entire time. Very happy!

We have gone through 5 sets of these now, they either work fine for a year or die off within 2-3 months. Power cord and the yellow av cord keep having issues with staying in even though they are tucked away and not being messed with. Good for the price just wish BB had more options.

I think it's the best thing to entertain children and adults while traveling. You won't be hearing, "Are we there yet? Instead, you will hear, "Can I stay in the car and watch my cartoon?" Love it for around town too. I rent Red Box DVSs and my little girl is so happy. I got the different screen so someone else can watch something different. Love the Skull Candy headphones with the system.

Works as expected, no issues so far. I just hope it holds up.

I bought these dvd players for my kids ages 5 and 2 for our road trip for Christmas vacation. Good sound and picture. Can't beat the quality and price.

I tried the insignia portable did players but the covienece of the Philips is awesome. Just a switch and both DVDs can watch the same program. It great too that both DVD players can act as the primary DVD player.

We have only purchased the Philips 9" DVD portable players...the ONLY reason we've had multiple because we've had toddlers do silly things like pull them open, yank the cord down breaking the tip or a puppy chewed through wires. NOTE, they have upgraded & these players are even better now because they are like two separate players. The kids can watch two different dvd's, the volume is louder on these than the older models & each comes with individual cords to plug into a regular outlet at home allowing them to have a separate dvd player in their own room if they wanted! LOVE these players!

Overall these players work well. The ability to choose from watching the same or different movies is great. (Eliminates arguing between 2 kids) Occasionally the movies will freeze temporarily, but not a big deal.

We love this! Keeps the kids entertained in the car. We like that the kids can watch the same movie or they can each watch something different. They are very easy to install and remove from the car and take inside too!

We got these for our kids and they love them. They work great so far, and there dual instead of like the others where each child can watch a different DVD, would be a lot better if they were blu Ray instead.

The good thing about this is that you can watch two different movies at the same. The volume is not that great. I think the price is to high for this product. Overall so far so good. I have only had it for less then 30 days.

I took a chance on ordering these DVD players. I read reviews and spoke to others who had also purchased, and there were mixed reviews. I took a chance because they have a one year replacement guarantee. The first DVD player door with very minimum use started to not want to latch properly causing any DVD to skip when used to play. I started to only play one DVD at a time on both players using the 2nd device. After using it twice, the same issue with the door not latching properly started to happen. I had to either hold the door closed manually to get a DVD to play for the remainder of our trip (not easy to do while you're the only one able to drive the vehicle as well). Called Philips for replacement. Received replacement which was not new but "certified refurbished" units. Replacement units were scuffed, door latches broken, and caked on food from previous owner. Philips wanted me to return my original units prior to them replacing the replacement units. HORRIBLE customer service. Want you to take all these steps to "help" them, but refuse to give you new units as replacement. Will not purchase Philips DVD players again. A complete WASTE of my hard earned money. Still don't have working DVD players for my vehicle.

We Baught this items for our road trip out girls loved it because they could watch them own movie and not the same one at the same time.

Good for collection, really like it when it came out

This was a gift for my very young grandson who spends lots of time in the car. It was prefect so he could watch his favorite movies.

we purchased this DVD player for a drive to Disney World with our 2 year old grand daughter to keep her entertained. She loved the movies, but the DVD player was not up to par with our expectations. But I guess it is good enough to use on road trips with the kids.

Great but no usb port. other than that, very useful

Have bought two of these for separate cars. It has a great picture, the kids love it. The only issue is that the power cord is very flimsy. It has broken on both units. Had to replace it with aftermarket product.

Way better then the insignia brand! And best part is both of my children can watch different movies inside the car or in the house
