We are constantly exchanging this. The DVD door is always "open" so the DVD is not being read. These don't last long if you have them on ur headrests. Maybe they last long if they are always kept flat.

Quality of video is great, and so far item has been reliable- However, The wires are not long enough to where I can run them along the inside of my seats or through the flooring. Consequently, they dangle, and the kids/dogs keep getting caught in them and pulling them out. The video jack on one side almost broke from someone getting tangled in them and trying to get out of truck. Wish they had thought of a better way to handle all the wires, it's a mess and a constant hassle.

Purchased this unit for a long road trip with kids. Unit worked great. Video and audio quality were good even with road noise. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs to keep the kids entertained during those tough stretches on the road.

These portable dvd players work great in any vehicle. The cords are a little short so I separately purchased extra long ones. Exactly what we were looking for.

They're easy to set up, the quality is on par with the price. Definitely get the protection plan because the are not very durable.

Got these so my kids can watch movies when we travel to and from family homes! They have great volume and wonderful picture too.

Love that these play two different movies. With two children who can never agree on the same movie these dual players are perfect!

Overall quality is OK, acceptable. Controls could be much more friendly for children in the car. The buttons are very small and difficult to see and not clearly laid out to be easily used...particularly in a moving vehicle. Also, I found the controls on top of that player for opening and closing the player are flimsy, small and not user friendly. As indicated above, the product is just ok, acceptable.

Pros: plays two different movies at same time or can play one movie on both screens at same time. Good screen size and mounts. Doesn't skip. Resumes play where you left off when refueling, etc. good volume and nice dimming feature for movies at nighttime. Cons: cheap materials, lid will lose its dampening feature when opening and will "slam" open. Cables are too short, had to buy longer cables on Amazon. No blu-ray play back. Too much money for what you get.

My 2 boys were able to either watch the same movie, or watch their own movie on the car on a recent road trip. No arguments! They even used their headphones which helped to avoid any bickering about the volumes.

My son has always hated taking long rides in the car. Now he loves it. Sit back and watch a movie and relax!
