I am very satisfied with this purchase. I love the fact that my daughter and niece can watch different movies simultaneously (no fussing). The pictures were clear and the sound quality was great. You have to contend with the wires but that's minor. I would definitely recommend to others.

We got this to try out before we leave for an 7 hour vacation drive and our kids love them. They watch them every time we go in the car and vacation isn't for another 30 days. The car charger has a split plug which is great so you only use one car charger if you have more than one...in our case we have 2 so we can still plug in our phones. I love the fact they can watch the same movie or seperate ones. We have a 9 year old and 2 year old.

Bought these for my twins to watch in the car. Paid more money for this brand only because it had a 12 month factory warrenty vs the other ones 90 days. After only two months went to use it for the third time and the main unit screen has lines on in it. This unit has been well cared for and kept in a case when not in use. Looks like the day it came out of the box Contacted Phillips, they had me send them pictures of the issue, the two weeks later, they wanted more pictures, Each time I had to call them because they would never contact me by the final time they set. They stated that I must have dropped it and I would have to pay to get it fixed. The unit was never dropped of misused and looks new. Phillips cares nothing of this, I offered to send in more pictures or mail them the unit. Even one of the Phillips employees admitted she did not see any damage. You can search the net and see this is a common problem with this unit. Bottom line do not buy this or any other Phillips product.

I loved that this set allowed for two different movies playing at the same time. With three kids, this is necessary! The set worked great for our first trip. Within 6 months, one of the players would not play on its own, and is now not even working with connected to the other dvd player. The yellow connection cord also broke within 6 months. For what I payed for the set, I was really dissapointed that it did not last very long. Of course Best Buy will not let me return it, even with reciept and box, because it has been longer then 30 days. Would not buy this again!

I purchased this set of DVD players before a long road trip with our 2 sons. It was awesome that they were able to watch 2 separate movies at the same time. We love them!

Must have for multiple kids that have diverse taste in shows. Sets up quickly and takes down quickly so can be hidden while parked.

My son loves this, although I do wish there was a battery compartment so we could use it on a plane.

Perfect for road trips or camping. Can watch the same movie on two screens, or a different movie on both players. Ear buds Jack makes it convenient.

Enjoyed the 1st set for several months until error "DVD not found" showed up on ALL previously played and even new out-of -the-package DVDs. Out of warranty, so bought another==> one player worked, the other showed same error "DVD not found" straight out of the box. My wife went through the cleaning,etc recommended by manual to no avail. Now looking at another brand, if available without costing an arm and a leg.

I have purchased 2 Phillips DVD players and both have died on us in just over a years time. They are a good price and very easy set up and a great picture (when it worked), but eventually they die. The screen goes blank and it's over. I will not buy anymore Phillips! If you are looking for something to last a long time, don't get this product or if you do please get the store protection plan...luckily we did!!

This item is a little pricey, but it's ultimately worth it. If you have two or more kids, you know that sometimes they will want to watch different things, but sometimes one will want to watch what the other one is watching. This system gives you both options. All of the other portable DVD players currently available either give you one option or the other. This gives you both.

Good player, it always begins where it left off when the car has been turned off. They replaced another brand that was good, but these are even better. Very good buy.

Bought this product because I was going to go on a long driving trip with my kids and I needed something to keep them entertained for a while. They loved it and have been using it since. When playing a movie it doesnt skip like I thought it would.

These dual screen DVDs work great in the car or in our motorhome keeping our girls occupied.

Purchased this in April 2010. It is Memorial Day weekend 2013 and the main player just died. The second screen died about a year ago. All of a sudden it just showed lines and wouldn't show the movie. Today on a long trip the main player just stopped working. Other than the small hard-to-read controls, I had no complaints with these units until they stopped working. We got by for a while with one screen, but now have nothing. In general these portable players seem to be junk and I may end up buying another set of these since the reviews on all the others are just as bad.

This was a grear purchase. Kids are quite in the van now and entertained

So I read lots of good reviews and a read a few bad reviews. If I would have written my review within the first week, I would have given the products 5 stars for sure. I loved that both units played movies independently. I was a little annoyed that the PLAY button was so small, but I could live with it. I could even live with the fact that sometimes the units skipped on BRAND NEW DVDs. However, a month into ownership, one of the units stopped playing movies. By the third month, the 2nd unit stopped powering up all together. If not for the Geek Squad warranty, I would be incredibly upset. I have owned Philips products before, but this unit is poorly built. Not recommended.

These DVD players worked well just long enough for the 15 day return policy to expire. I bought the set in July, at the beginning of August they just stopped reading disks. I took them back and got a new set, the second set did the exact same thing. At the beginning of September they stopped reading the disks. Took them back again and they wanted to exchange them again. Nope! Gave me store credit instead.

They can watch the same movie or each choose to watch their own with the dual players. And with the 3 year protection I added if anything happens to them they will replace them at no cost to me!

Kids love the functionality. Wish it had a remote!
