This set gives you options for watching something individually on each screen or watching something together. The anti-skip feature worked great on a long car ride and the speaker volume was loud enough to hear in a moving car. Would recommend!

Worked just fine for 4 months of occasional use. I'm hoping the limited warranty will replace the product.

I bought this product excited about the 2 dvd PLAYERS not just one with an extra screen. The extra screen went out after only a few views. I exchanged this product 4 TIMES expecting it just to be a fluke but it happened even the fourth time! I finally just returned it and got a different brand. Hope this one works. I even tried contacting Phillips directly and they didn't reply.

I love that this product can play two movies at the same time and that you don't have to have both plugged in at the same time. I also love that they can be used in the car or in the house.

Had this product for less than a month and it stopped working. When driving down the road dvd will be playing and then all of a sudden it says open when it is not. I would not recommend this product.

Worst dvd product ever. Im really shocked that Phillips allows this poor quality dvd player to remain on shelves at all. We bought these less than a year ago drawn by the fact our girls could choose to watch the same dvd at the same time or watch different movies. Awesome concept. Poor quality. The first set actually lasted 3-4 months before one of the doors started popping open mid-movie. Luckily we had purchased the service plan/warranty so we took them back & exchanged them. The second set lasted almost a month before one of the screens went out. After that it ranged from 1 to 10 days before the players would break. We exchanged the dvd players 8 times before giving up. Mostly the players keep popping open, one just minutes after installing it, but other problems we experienced were buttons on front of tv not working when pushed multiple times, screen not working, and twice the metal part of the car adaptor plug just fell off - no power! I started wondering if they were putting the faulty ones we were returning back on the shelves but these were all wrapped & sealed new in the box - theyre just junk! Dont buy! if you want to take your chances, get that warranty.

Purchased for my grand children system worked for a few times then started giving problems with the screens now one screen works the other doesn't has a large black diagonal line. Called Phillips " no can help" so you are on your own when you purchase this brand.

I took mine back to the store! I already have similar 7" units from same manufacturer, and they have worked reliably for many years so I thought I get these 9" screens for the dual player capability. I really like that each of the 9" players can play a DVD on its own, or you can have one unit play the DVD and use an included cable to allow the other unit to watch the same DVD simultaneously via the A/V out and A/V in mini plugs. However, on the very first trip, the screens kept popping open with the slightest bump in the road. These things were absolutely useless for kids strapped into car seats that cannot reach the players to close them. I am not exaggerating -- I did not count, but between the two players I bet the screens popped open at least 10 times in a 200 mile trip.

I bought these for our cars for our kids 1 and 7 and they both love them.They are a great investment for the money.

I bought this DVD player for a road trip and 3 hours into the road trip one of the DVD players started to freeze up and then skip to a whole different scene entirely. I tried contacting Philips and did what they said to do, but the problem wasn't fixed. I called Philips again and they gave me a email address to sent a copy of my receipt to so that they could "see" what they could do for me if anything at all. (I am within the 1 year warranty period) and when I did email, it got kicked back even though I knew it was the one the representative gave to me because I repeated it back to him. So, now I have a faulty DVD player and poor customer service at Philips. I will not be buying another DVD player from Philips that's for sure.

One of the DVD players stopped working after no even having for a month. Everytime you hit a bump they stop working and have to reload. Waste of money in my opinion.

Froze as soon as we turned it on the first time. Even tried a brand new DVD and it still freezes and says "loading". Huge disappointment.

Bought these for long car rides, love that they can watch 2 movies at the same time. When we stop and turn them off they play from where we left off, happy about that. Third time we used it the 2nd tv would not load, only had lines. Can't get it to work, exchanging it tomorrow, hope the next one works!

Bought this unit for my daughter to use for her car. Within one month, one of the units had problems and would keep "loading". Sent back in and got replacement unit. Within a few weeks, replacement unit kept doing the same thing. Phillips authorized a buyback of the units. Product was received and shipped back in May. Phillips "closed out the ticket" and only after repeated calls did they get it back open and "process a check". Check was "processed 4 weeks ago", and all they can tell me is that it takes 5 to 8 weeks to send it out. Customer service phone number is a dead end. You can talk to a rep and then a supervisor, but never get beyond whatever the company line is. Will never buy Phillips again if I can help it.

Ok, so I first got 1 set of these in 2012 and it worked great! couldn't understand all the bad reviews. Then, my daughter came along and she needed a set too. So, we got hers and I just returned the FOURTH set! All manufactured in OCT 2013. All had stopped reading the disc or skipped and wouldn't read disc and never worked again. I was in shock! Then in the middle of all that the 1st set I had from 2012 stopped working as well. These dvd players are JUNK but unfortunately no one else makes a Dual DVD system with 2 that both accept disc and each can watch what they want so I subject myself to constantly buying and returning every few weeks. Seems if yours were manufactured in OCT 2013 then you are doomed!

Bought one of these and it stopped working after about a month. It still had power but the screen would not work properly and the movies would not start. So I returned it and bout another one. This time I used it one time before the same thing happened. Stay away from this product unless you like returning items that don't work.

The door won't stay closed while traveling in the car so the DVDs skip and restart until they won't play at all. Also, the cord connecting the 2 monitors does not work so Only one would play.

Bought as an upgrade to what we own for 2nd vehiche. Would not turn on in 1st month of owning, best buy replaced it with a new unit. Would not turn on again, told wiring shot..wiring very thin & any jiggling/bending breaks the wiring inside causing unit not to turn on. Got new wire ...same problem 2 more times. Way too much $ for such poor quality in electrical wiring. I own a cheap $99 unit from another company for 8 yrs. & never a problem. Philips has been willing to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Bad customer service!

I just returned mine to the store and the person behind me was returning theirs as well. I only had it for two weeks and the DVD player started skipping and wouldn't play any DVD. The DVDs were free of scratches so it wasn't the discs. The other one worked fine but I didn't buy one I bought two, so save your money and buy something that works.
