I went looking for portable dvd player, and this is what i was looking for. Plays a great picture.

Took it on vacation. Was great to watch movies on layovers. Was great on the beach and at the hotel.

Overall, this is a good product. My son loves that he can watch movies in the car now. The volume is very low when using the headphones though. I would have thought that you could plug this in to charge while it was playing and you can't. Reviews about the disc noise wasn't an issue for me, I could barely hear it.

Purchased for nursing home to show DVD's to residents. Easy to use and the price was reasonable.

I do not have a tv in the bedroom and I wanted something small and portable to watch dvd's on in bed. This product fit the bill perfectly! It is easy to use and holds a long charge, providing me with hours of viewing time. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy another.

Bought this for Airplane travel. Works good. Fits in the seat back pocket when not in use. Long battery life. I suggest over ear headphones on plane though and it was not loud enough through iPod earphones at times.

This is a good portable DVDs player with a relatively long battery life. It's compact, durable and has good picture quality and clarity. I would have designed it with an alternative HDMI output for using it with home tvs with up scaling capability.

This is a simple to use and basic portable DVD player. Good value for the money.

Was great for travel use. Use on airplane and in hotel room. Battery lasted for the full 5 hours.

We got one of these for our son and he spilled some water on it. It did not play very well, so when we went to Best Buy for a new one we ended up buying the same one since it seemed to have the best value in terms of screen size and price. And, the old one started working again, so it may be pretty durable

Getting ready for a road trip with my 6 year old grandson from AZ to OH and knew I'd need some help! So I stopped at Best Buy and found this player, it was perfect and kept him entertained for hours!! IPads need internet but these don't!! Just remember the dvd's =)

This DVD player would've gotten a better review if the screen resolution was better, the lid wasn't slightly ajar and it played bluray. Battery life is great at 5 hours and it comes with a car charger.

Bought this for my grandchildren and found it to be good for them, easy to use.

The Philips DVD Player works very well for me with an easy and inexpensive way to do instructional videos and music where ever I go and I do love movies anytime. I carefully decide such purchases since I tend to be a minimalist and acquire very little to fit into my small space....no TV or stereo. Best Buy has served me well with this, my laptop and my home phone. Thank you.

I bought this for my granddaughter. She loves it. We use it to play all of her Disney movies.

Gave this as a gift and they absolutely love it! It has great sound and picture quality.
