This met our needs for a small DVD player! I am not sure it will charge in our 2015 car.

The ease and convenience of moving anywhere to watch a movie is great. I love this purchase

We love this, children are so involved in the DVDs in the car. Long trips go by faster.

Screen isn't crisp as others I've owned but, this unit does the job. Battery life is alright. I got a good 5 hours out of it on a flight across country. The internal audio is a little quieter than i'd like but the headphone jack output is good. There isn't a little pocket for the remote making it easier to lose. These are little nuances that i have but overall I rate it 4 star.

Like that I can use it without constantly being tied to an electrical plug.

Good portable DVD player for the cat. Screen is good for being in a car.

This was a gift for someone who camps a lot. He is very happy with it.

I was skeptical of the Phillips brand given that I'd purchased the tandem player for in-car use and it failed miserably - didn't meet fitness for use standard. I was very happy to find that this player didn't suffer from the same issues. It is battery/DC powered for in-car use and must have some form of buffering/forward error correction as it plays movies without interruption despite driving over bumpy terrain. It's also suitable for use in close proximity with my toddler who likes to sit with this unit in her lap - mimicking me with my iPad/keyboard. It's survived her constantly pushing buttons/controls, kicking, and dropping it. It also doesn't get hot on the bottom like some other players so she can sit with it in her lap.

All it's options makes it a quality product. The picture and sound is outstanding

We bought this DVD player because we were looking for something basic for our toddler (4 yrs old) to be able to watch movies when visiting friends, etc. It is simple to operate and our boy had no problems quickly figuring it all out. I am not a media geek, but the quality of the video and sound seem good. The features that separated this player from the multitude of others available (to us anyway) was the price and the fact it came with an attachment for mounting the player to the car seat if you wanted to use it in the car. We haven't used it yet, but it seems like it will work.

We bought the dvd player for the plane ride on our way to vacation.it worked well and battery can be used for a long time. The only we didn't realize is thAt it only charges when it's off.

Very good picture and sound for the price. Very happy with this player.
