I like that, I could charge it up and have it ready for long and boring train ride. I watched two movies on the DVD player. Threw out the rough ride it did not glitch once. Small and easy to pack.

We really like the portability of this dvd player.

I was going to be stuck in the Atlanta airport for 5 hours. My boyfriend was kind enough to drop me off at best buy to find something to play a couple of DVDs that I had. I chose this portable DVD player and it was a life saver. Plugged it into a outlet station, kept myself preoccupied and enjoyed the passing time.

Granddaughter loves using it for long car rides!!!

I've had no issues with this DVD player. It serves its purpose to keep my 2 year old content on long trips. It comes with a carrier so you can prop it on the headrest in the car. This is not the best head rest but will work. You have to take the DVD player out of the carrier when putting a DVD in. (I'd like to look for another carrier, but not a priority). The only thing that would make this better is if it swiveled so it wasn't open like a laptop. Being a 2 year old, it's very tempting for my little one to press buttons. This player comes with a remote which I never put batteries in to try out, so cannot comment on it. Battery life hasn't been an issue to date in the month I've had it.

It plays well, though the battery does not last as long as it is indicated on the description of the product. That made it hard because the purpose was to get my child entertained in a cross country trip. I would recommend it w/ clarification about its actual battery charge limitations.

I was impressed with the build quality, design and features, but the screen resolution was poor. The resolution was worse than my eight year old Polaroid unit that I was trying to replace. Probably would be sufficient. for children's use for playing animated movies. I returned the unit. I then tried a Sylvania 10 inch which much better resolution but had a bluish cast on screen that could not be changed with any of the menu controls. Returned it also. Ended up with a 10 inch MaxMade BluRay Portable DVD player. Has minor bluish tint but Outstanding resolution. It gives very accurate output color and high definition resolution via the HDMI connector to my High Definition TV for both regular and BluRay movies. It was double the cost but worth it if you want a good picture..

The kids are loving this. Perfect for on the boat. Small, lightweight. The battery holds a long charge but it seems it doesn't charge while being watched.

I bought this DVD player primarily to play instructional quilting videos while sewing. Ease of use, good color and screen size makes it a pleasure to use.

I brought it for plane rides and I love it. It's a nice size and the battery life is amazing. It has up to 5 hours of battery life. A little bulky but it is a good investment and its durable.

We are camping out without internet access. Desperately needed movies and popcorn! We hook it into our stereo system. Great high def for a small screen and a real workhorse. Highly recommend!

Was great for the trip I went on. Didn't need my laptop. Just phone and the DVD player. Philips is a good brand and battery life was great.

I bought this for my daughter for our long road trips. It works great and has a long battery life, the picture is clear and also comes with a remote!

We bought three of these units for our grand daughters because we were making a long 11 hour trip to Florida based on input from folks in our Bible Study class and they were a blessing. The worked perfectly and the kids loved them. We started on battery power and switched to 12v power after the batteries ran out after about 5 hours. We got a three way splitter for our 12v plug and they worked perfectly. If you have to make a trip with children from 6 or 7 years old to 12 years old, you need these! They worked perfectly.

This DVD is the perfect balance between watch-ability and mobility. Its easy to use, easy to carry. The pictures are great for the price point. I would like a little more then 5hrs battery life. The plastic, light feel makes it seem a little cheap. But for this price its a must have.

This is a great little gadget! I had purchased 1 a few yrs ago & a lot of the functions were not there for the portable version (I.e. If you turned off the unit you could not pickup where you left off; no frame advance, etc). This unit works just like the bigger more expensive ones. ☺️

Great quality for the price. Bought as gift for child and was a lifesaver on recent car trip....battery charge lasted over 6 hours playing DVDs!
