We bearly used it before the vacation, but it failed to play DVDs consistently. This Philips player has been playing DVDs ever since we got it. The volume is loud. The screen is not high resolution so you notice the LCD grids if you keep looking for them, otherwise it is not a problem.

My son spilled food on it, I was not happy because he just got it this Christmas but after I cleaned it, it works just fine.

Love this DVD Player

Its an ok product

I hope this one does not do the same thing. It is barely used and only for long distance trips. My daughter enjoys it so it is a must have.
